Name: Carolyn Hall Brazil |
I was sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. I remember her as one of the warmest, most generous moms I knew growing up. She was always doing sweet things for Kristi and me when I was over at their house - cooking for us, taking us where we wanted to go, and making her home a welcoming place. I loved spending time over there. My thoughts are with you and your family, Leslie and Kristi. Carolyn |

Dear Leslie, Kristi, and Family members, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Barbara. All my elementary years, she was like a second mom to me. She would always make her pancakes with strawberry and honey syrup for me after spending the night at the house. Kristi and I would get in trouble for eating candy. Sometimes we would get away with it! She is going to be missed. She was a wonderful person, let alone a wonderful mother. I will always remember her... |

Leslie & Kristi, There are a few people you meet in life that you can honestly say you have nothing but good memories of. Your mom and your dad are two of those people. You guys are part of my earliest memories of living in Stockton. Your mom was so good to us all, she would to try to get Kim and I to eat our celery sticks and drink our carrot juice despite our protests. She would always find me all banged up from crashing my bike out in the street, pick me up, take me home and bandage me up... she did that so much that I still remember where she kept the iodine and bandages in your old house. As the years passed, she always stayed in touch with our family and proved to be a dependable caring friend. There is a well-known saying that a good name is much more valuable than anything you can buy for yourself. Growing up, I couldn't have lived next door to anyone better than your family. It was a real privilege to be a part of your lives and to have your mom touch our lives as she did. I will never forget her, she made such a good name for herself and your whole family. I am so sorry to hear of her passing my thoughts & prayers are with you both. -Robbie |

Barbara and I are related through her Aunt Agnes, her mother's sister. I am Agnes' granddaughter...Lorell's oldest daughter. I was reacquainted with Barbara at a cousin 's reunion in Arizona last spring at an event hosted by Chuck and Marvin Hey. She and her sister, Joyce were delightful and enjoyed the gathering of cousins....we all did and had a great time reminiscing and laughing and carrying on (all things my dad highly approved---me too) I am happy she is at peace after the stroke but sad for your loss. God bless you all as you mourn her. |

Hoping this message gets to Kristi, and of course all the family. My thoughts and prayers have been with Kristi and her family over the years since she and I lost touch, and last connected in San Francisco. Kristi's parents raised an amazing woman who touched many peoples lives. Although I did not know Barbara, my love and prayers are with Kristi and all those affected by her moms death. xoxo |

I was saddened to read your the notice of your mom's passing. I remember her fondly. From the constant stories of her health food to the work with the children at Sture Larsen, she always seemed to have a smile on her face. I had run into her at O'Connor Woods once or twice because my father-in-law resides there, and she was as pleasant as ever. She supported you in every way and provided the two of you (as well as your dad) with a strong foundation. My best to you. Love, Mr White. |

We wanted to let you know how sorry we were to hear of Barbar's passing. We knew Les Nad Barbara wheb thet lived on Paloma Ave, before either of you girls were born. After you moved to lincoln Village West they use to bring Leslie over to our house to swim with our girls, Deb & Pam. We later moved to lincoln Village West, where we continued our friendship. Later Kristi bought our BMW. It was a Privilege to have known both of your parents. Your Mom always was such a caring and happy person, she will be greatly missed. |

Dear Leslie, Kristi, and Joyce, I moved next door to your parents when my children (Rob & Kim Oranges) were just 21 mos and 7 days old. Les, Barbara, and you girls were the first friends we made. What a beautiful family. Barbara was so kind - always smiling and loved her Les and girls sooo much! I remember the time I gave Leslie and Kristi a popsicle - boy did Barbara let me know all the non-nutritional facts about popsicles. I didn't realize at the time, Barbara was going to open my eyes to healthy eating. My sincerest condolences go out to you. It is the fond memories of our times together that bring me comfort and a smile to my heart. I hope "the peace that excels all thought" will bring you comfort knowing how loved your mother was. Love, Diane Oranges Giottonini |
