In Loving Memory of Lannie Joe
December 7, 1934 – April 16, 2024
Born in Toisan, China, on December 7, 1934, to Po Siu Fong and Tin Fee Fong, Lannie Joe emigrated to the United States and settled in Stockton, California where she would meet and marry her husband, Donald Quock Yen Joe, in 1960.
Between 1960 and 1965, Lannie and Donald would have 4 children, Danny, Linda, Doris, and Dale. But for the love and support of Lannie and Donald, all 4 children continue to thrive in their respective lives.
Besides her 4 children, with all her heart, Lannie loved and doted over her 8 grandchildren, Derek, Matthew, Jared, Zachary, Kyle, Sami, Sydney, and Riley.
Lannie is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Donald Joe, in 2014 and is survived by her sister, Judy Wong, of Sacramento, eldest son, Danny Joe, of Daly City, eldest daughter, Linda Joe, of San Ramon, youngest daughter, Doris Joe Lem and her husband, Wayne Lem, of Pleasanton, and youngest son, Dale Joe and his wife, ThuAnn Joe, of Rocklin, grandchildren, Derek Lem, Matthew Lem, Jared Lem, Zachary Lem, Kyle Kubota, Sami Kubota, Sydney Joe, and Riley Joe.
Lannie’s legacy of love, compassion and selfless dedication to her family will be carried on by her children and grandchildren.
While we are all heartbroken, we are comforted to know that Lannie and Donald have been reunited and will resume their daily walks together and forever.
