Cherokee Memorial is pleased to produce and sponsor a variety of events that bring the community together throughout the year.  These events are held in a variety of locations within the park and encourage families to gather and celebrate.

Colors of healing paint night event

Join us for a Paint Night at Cherokee Memorial. Come create a beautiful piece of art with brush and canvas to remember your loved one. No artisitic skills necessary, we will walk you through each step to create your healing masterpiece.

Reservations Required, Please RSVP by October 9th by calling our Event Coordinator at 209-334-9613.

$35 non-refundab le materials fee.

Complimentary refreshments will be provided. Bring your own beverage for the event.

Looking for a way to talk through your feelings? No matter when your loss occurred, we are here to help you grow through your grief and find healing through support. Join our Growing Through Grief support group, drop in for any session you wish, and it’s all offered free of charge.

Each year on Memorial Day we honor those who fought and died for the freedoms we hold so dear as Americans. On this day of recognition we also salute our deceased veterans, those who are still with us, as well as those who are actively serving in the Armed Services today.
