Cherokee Memorial is pleased to produce and sponsor a variety of events that bring the community together throughout the year.  These events are held in a variety of locations within the park and encourage families to gather and celebrate.

Memorial Day

Each year on Memorial Day we honor those who fought and died for the freedoms we hold so dear as Americans. On this day of recognition we also salute our deceased veterans, those who are still with us, as well as those who are actively serving in the Armed Services today.

A spectacle of Red, White and Blue immerses Cherokee Memorial Park on Memorial Day as we honor those who have fought, that we might celebrate our freedoms in the ways we hold so dear.
