Dorothy “Dotti” Cummins January 28, 1944- August 1, 2017
Of Lodi

Dotti Cummins entered heaven on August 1, 2017 after a five month
battle with cancer. She leaves a large legacy that will be missed by her family, church and community. Dotti graduated from Northwestern University and went on to receive her master's degree in Piano Performance from the Juilliard School of Music in New York. For 46 years she was a vital part of her husbands ministries in Michigan and California. 28 years ago, Dotti and Bill established Bear Creek Community Church where Dotti established the worship ministries, women's ministries and the prayer and healing ministries of the church. Several thousand people took her 'Touching God in Prayer' prayer class. In 2017, she launched a new Stockton strategic prayer initiative. This prayer endeavor brought together a large cross section of churches and ministries in Stockton to take our city back for God.
Dotti was an amazing woman. God blessed her with numerous talents that she faithfully used to serve her Lord through the local church. She was an awesome wife to her husband, Bill. Dotti was a loving mother to her son Josh, his wife Kristen and their three children Kylie, Jake and Caitlin; Dan and his wife Sarah, and their children Noah, Ava, Micah and Levi, and Matthew and his wife Gemma and their children Juliet and Silas.
