March 28, 1918 - July 12, 2017 Alvin E. Sibell passed away Wednesday July 12, 2017 in Lodi at the age of 99. He was born march 28, 1918 to Henry and Ann Sibell in a farmhouse in Douglas County Minnesota.
Alvin was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Gisella Peacock Sibell, his son Gilbert John Sibell, daughter Mary Margaret Sibell, and grandson Scott LeRoy Patrick. Also preceding him in death were his parents, six brothers: Raymond, Virgil, Harvey, Gail, Herb, and Rudy.
He served his country with great pride during WWII in the US Army, and was assigned to the European Theater of Operations with the 29th Infantry Division.
He was a carpenter by trade and member of the Carpenter’s Union. We was also a member of the Ed Stewart Post of the American Legion and served as a Past Commander of a VFW Post in Minnesota. He built the family’s first home in Alexandria Minnesota in 1946. In 1963 the family moved to Stockton, CA. Alvin retired in 1984 after 35 years as a Carpenter.
Alvin and Gisella has nine chilfren and he is survived by seven: Patti Patrick (John), Bob Sibell (Corry), Richard Sibell (Rena), Anna Frenk, Debbie Trent (David), Jeff Sibell, JoAnn Anderson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He enjoyed the outdoors – hunting and fishing – and living a long, full life.
VISITATION
Visitation will take place from 4-8 pm on Wednesday July 19, 2017 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park 14165 N. Beckman Rd. Lodi.
SERVICES
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 am on Thursday July 20, 2017 at St. Annes Catholic Church 215 W. Walnut St in Lodi, CA.

Yoshiko Watkins passed away at 86 years young on July 12 . She is survived by her husband, James Watkins,
of 65 years; her children, Ellen Watkins, Susan Fetsch (Mark), Tom Watkins (Jan) and Don Watkins (Merlin); 12 grandchildrenand 5 great grandchildren. She loved her family, friends and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Patricia Gayle Arata (Patricia Armstrong) passed away at her homein Stockton on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the age of 62, after a courageousbattle with cancer.Patricia is predeceased by her father, David Armstrong.
On July 9, 2017 at 4:15 a.m. Alice Kidd, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, returned to her Heavenly Father to receive a much deserved peace. Her valiant and courageous spirit was born to Grace and Lee Preston in Orange City, California in 1928. At the age of 16 during WWII, she and the love of her life, Mardee Kidd, eloped to Reno, Nevada to begin their 65 year marriage. Two years later, they had their first child, Sandra, followed by Mark four years later.
She met and instantly fell in love with Dallas Perkins Jr. and they made their love eternal and wed on December 19, 1959. The Lord continued to bless them with two daughters; Sandra and Greer.
Deanna Jean Vaccarezza was born on February 13, 1946 and peacefully entered eternal rest on July 7th, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Stockton, CA for most of her life and loved to study her Bible, spend time with family, cook, and go out to eat.
Doug was the son of Albert & Bertha Larsson of Turlock, CA where he was born and spent his childhood. He would say he “gave it a good run” for 67 great years.

Maria Estela Borja, known as Estela by most, 54, died Sunday July 2nd, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Alfredo Campos and Juana Borja Gaona, her siblings Nicolas, Alfredo, and Ofelia Campos and her grandchild Emiliano Ambriz. She is survived by her brother Raul and sisters Carmela and Chuy; her children Cinthia Campos, Jenny Rios, Sylvia Ambriz, Daisy Lopez and Pedro Lopez Jr; her grandchildren Eduardo and Juan Carlos Garcia, Ashanti, Gianni and Jade Ambriz, and Emerie Lopez; and her great grandchild Melany Garcia.
Melbert Lehr, age 95, of Acampo, CA passed away July 1, 2017. Mel was born in Alfred, North Dakota. Mel graduated from Gackle High School and later attended Valley City State University. Mel retired as a supervisor from Goehring Meats, He was a member of the First Baptist Church for over 60 years where he was a deacon, taught Sunday school, and sang in the church choir.
