Patricia R. Phillips Roundy

Patricia "Pat" Roundy passed away August 10, 2017 in Lodi, CA. Born in Rosemead, CA to the late Riley and Ruth Manning. Pat graduated from Lodi Academy when it was still a boarding school after which she worked as an airline stewardess for American Airlines where she met her husband William "Bill" Phillips while he was stationed in the US Marine Corp. They had two children and remained married until Bill's death in 1971. Pat returned to work as a Data Entry Operator for California Computer Center until her retirement and re-marraige to Ken Roundy. Pat and Ken enjoyed many years of camping and fishing trips to Hope Valley in the Sierra's until Ken's death in 1986. Pat was an avid bowler and continued to bowl well into her eighties. She was extremely artistic creating many beautiful stained glass and ceramic tile designs. She enjoyed casino trips with her daughter and was a diehard SF Giants fan. In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by her brother Riley "JR" Manning. Survived by her loving children daughter Cindy Lindall (David) of Stockton, CA, son Ron Phillips (Katie) of Sheperdsville, Kentucky, cherished grand- daughter Melanie Lindall of Santa Barbara, CA whom she was especially proud as well as her many friends at Rio Las Palmas, especially her best friend Lois Sweet.

Simon S. Martinez, also known as "Montoya", passed away peacefully on August 9, 2017 in Stockton, CA. Simon was born in Salvadores, Aguascalientes, Mexico. He came to the United States through the Bracero Program in the 1940s and worked in a variety of agriculture across the country. Simon came to California in the 1970s to work in the Central Valley farms and fields. In Lodi, he worked as a dairyman at Costa Dairy for 11 years followed by 7 years at Van Exel Dairy. Simon continued to work for various local vineyards, including Van Ruiten. He also worked for Pacific Coast Producers during the cherry season up until his retirement, just a few years ago. Simon was known to not only be a very hard worker but also someone who took pride in his work. He was punctual, reliable and made many friends everywhere he went. At home, he was the patriarch and enjoyed having a house full of family and laughter. Simon is survived by his wife, Guadalupe, his children, Jesus, Pablo, Carlos, Gerardo, and Luisa. He had 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Bill Sherrill was born William Clayton Sherrill in Charlotte, N.C. He was an excellent musician and played the piano for the Morning Thought Radio Broadcast every morning before he went to school. His talent lead him to compose the alma mater for Harding High School.
Russell passed away in his home in Stockton Ca Where he lived with his loving wife Gloria Surber.
Russell succumbed into death after his heroic battle with cancer.
Michael Alan Blehm was born on November 22, 1949 in Sonora, CA and moved to Lodi, CA a couple of days later. He grew up a country boy on his parents farm until the age of 14 when his father, Harold Blehm, passed away. He then moved to the city with his mother Margaret Blehm and sister Kathy (Blehm) Sayler. He graduated from Lodi High School in 1967. He worked hard for many years in the automotive industry. He loved his family, loved life, loved to laugh. He enjoyed camping, drawing, looking at hot rods, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his wife's day care children, and sharing all of his favorite memories any time he could. He was loved by all who knew him and was a gentle giant. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He loved God and listening to all kinds of music.
Mike is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol (Lang) Blehm; Children: Michelle Lozano (Rollie), Michael Blehm, Julie Hahn (Scott); Grandchildren: Cameron Pitman, Mikayla and Myles Lozano, and Aislyn, Jaron and Brogan Hahn and sister Kathy (Blehm) Sayler, and many other nieces and nephews, all whom he loved so much. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Frank Clarence Tenente was born November 17, 1919 in Isleton, California to Frank and Nora Tenente. He passed away on July 30, 2017 in Lodi, CA, at the age of 97. He was proud of his military history and WWII service in the US Army Air Corps with the 489th Bomb Squadron, where he served in Naples, Sicily, Southern France and Tunisia. Frank received the good conduct medal, Bronze Star, and Distinguished Unit Badge with one oak leaf cluster.
Margie Medina passed away on July 28, 2017 at her home in Stockton at the age of 59. She was born in Fresno, California to Genevieve and Jess Medina on May 19, 1958. Her family moved to Stockton and she attended South Stockton schools and graduated from Tokay High School in 1976. Margie loved music and cooking for her family. She was an avid Beatles fan and had a deep affection for Paul McCartney, attending many concerts over the years. Margie worked as a cook at St. Joseph’s and San Joaquin General Hospitals.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Genevieve Medina. She is survived by her sisters Genevieve “Susie” Aires and Diane Vigil, her brother Jesse Medina, and numerous nieces and nephews. Margie was especially close to her nephew Ryan Tomkins, Jeremy Reyner, and Paul Halbert.
