Andrew Asborno

Andrew “Andy” J. Asborno passed away at his home in Stockton after a lengthy illness on September 17, 2017, at the age of 52.  He was born in Stockton on June 28, 1965, to Louis and Joanne Asborno.  He went to local Stockton Schools, graduating from Franklin High School in 1983.  He enjoyed attending races at the Stockton 99 Speedway, fishing at Hope Valley, playing ping pong and spending time with his friends. Andy was preceded in death by his father Louis F. Asborno.  He is survived by his children:  Justin Ray Asborno, Zachary Asborno, James Asborno; his mother Joanne A. Asborno; siblings: Linda Asborno–Priest (Bob), Martin Asborno (Renee), Rebecca Stockman (Ray); numerous beloved nieces and nephews; and his companion Joey Morgan, who gave him loving comfort in his final days.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 21, 2017, in the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd. in Lodi, CA.

SERVICES

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 am on Friday, September 22, 2017, at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 5882 Ashley Lane, Stockton, CA.

Clifford Turner Sr.

October 14, 1918 - September 16, 2017 Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Turner family.

Ann Byus

Ann Colleen Byus, 80, of Lodi, unexpectedly went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, the 14th of September, 2017. She was born in Elsinore, California, on June 1st, 1937. She was the youngest of three children born to Orval and Alene Taylor. On May 24th, 1954, she married her one and only love, Robert Forrester Byus. Together they raised 4 daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, brother and daughter Roberta Preston of Oklahoma. She is survived by her daughters, Georgia Littlejohn of Tennessee, Cathleen Butterfield of Lodi, California and Judy Michel of Acampo, CA. She was grandmother to eight grandchildren and great grandmother to eleven great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Road, Lodi,  CA.

Jeremiah Mobley

October 4, 1977 - September 10, 2017

Jeremiah Martin Mobley - father, grandfather, son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend - died on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at home in Lodi, CA. Born October 4, 1977 in Sacramento, CA, "Miah" was 39 years old.

Jeremiah was intelligent, witty, artistic, hard-working, and a life-long Philadelphia Eagles fan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, and time with his children, family and friends.

Jeremiah is survived by his children Joseph and Broden Mobley, grandson, Oenomaus Mobley; parents and step-parents, Terri Spencer, Jim and Beth Mobley, Scott Spencer, and Kathy Kitchens; his siblings, Wesley Spencer, Jack Spencer, Annie Spencer, Jasmine Jackson, Bessie Jackson, Sarah Tate, Kim Erickson, Cad Castleberry, and Lacey Castleberry; his grandparents, Jim Mobley, Sr. and Roy and Joan Hall; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeremiah was especially close to his Aunt Laurie Williams and Uncle Adam Mobley.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Lynn Mobley.

SERVICES

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 22nd at 1:00 pm at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckham Rd. Lodi, CA.

There will be a Celebration of Life to follow for family and close friends at the home of Jeremiah's mother, Terri Spencer, at 7 South School Street in Lodi.
