John D. Mercer Sr. passed away on October 20, 2017 in Lodi at the age of 75. John was born on August 31, 1942 in Newark, O. He worked for 30 years as a maintenance mechanic at the Del Monte Cannery.
He is survived by his sons John D. Mercer Jr, and David J. Mercer (Laura); grandchildren: Tori Ochoa, Nathan Mercer, Annalese Mercer, David Blake Mercer; brother Michael Mercer (Charlotte); sisters: Myrna Bailey, Julia McCullough, and Priscilla Price; and numerous niece s and nephews.
His parents Verda Jane Worthington and Richard Ross Mercer precede him in death.
VISITATION
Visitation will take place from 2-6 PM on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Vineyard Chapel 14165 N. Beckman Rd. Lodi.
Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 at E. Harney Lane , Lodi.

Lisa volunteered with the Stockton Police Department VIPS program, San Joaquin County Sheriffs Department STARS program as a crew member on the Bus named MAX, and volunteered with the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet program rising to the Rank of Lieutenant.
Ruth was born in Long Branch, New Jersey to Leslie and Norma Macinnes. She attended grade schools in Boston, MA and Coalinga, CA. She graduated from Tracy Joint Union High School in 1962, New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing earning her R.N. and the University California, Stanislaus and earned a BSN.
Walter Sam Orr born December 28, 1928 peacefully passed away on October 14, 2017 at the age of 88 with his family by his side. Walt is the son of the late William and Marie Orr. He is survived by a brother, John Orr of Stockton; his children: Diane (Bruce) Robinson, Debbie (Terry) Shoeffler of Stockton, Walter Orr of Bellflower, Karen (Dennis) Larsen of Tulsa, OK, and Jason (Danielle) Orr of Acampo. He has 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, preceded in death by 1 grandson. Many nieces and nephews.
