Lovingly encircled by family, Jane (Cobble) Morelli, 77, was called Home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born September 28, 1940 in Yale, Oklahoma, she enjoyed a wonderful childhood on the family farm. Graduated from Yale High School in 1958 and Oklahoma State University in 1963 with a double major in Family Relations and Child Development/Education. Started her teaching career in Denver, Colorado where she met and married her husband. There they raised a daughter and son. During those years, she worked at the Colorado Baptist General Convention.
She was a, devoted Southern Baptist, happily serving, teaching, cooking and singing with her beautiful alto voice She loved to travel abroad, for ministry or pleasure. The family moved to Stockton, California in 1988. In the years that followed, she worked as a bank teller and then returned to teaching until her retirement in 1998 due to health issues. She will forever be remembered for her inviting personality, graceful generosity, southern hospitality, and love of butterflies!
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Guy Morelli; her daughter, Michelle Morelli-Taylor, (Gene), and her son, Tony Morelli, all of Stockton, California; by her brother, Bill Cobble (MaryBeth) of Lexington, Virginia; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and countless precious friends that endearingly called her Mom or Nana.
Services
Services will be held on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Vineyard Chapel, located at the Cherokee Memorial Cemetery: 14165 N. Beckman Road, Lodi.
Reception to follow at Michigan Heights Baptist Church, 3156 Michigan Avenue, Stockton.
In lieu of flowers, her wish was that you bless someone in her memory.

Jearld "Gene" Haley
Jearld “Gene” Haley, age 85, of Stockton went to his heavenly home on April 1st, 2018. Gene was born November 17, 1932 in Purcell, Oklahoma. He succumbed to injuries due to a recent fall. Gene followed his passion for softball. He was a member of the 1960 USAAA All World Tournament Softball team. He was chosen All World 1st baseman in 1960 and was placed in the All World Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was later inducted to the amateur Stockton Hall of Fame in 1961. Gene married Shirley Simmons in 1956. They were married 62 years and raised their two daughters Patti Rivera and Kathy Souza, both of Lodi. Shirley and Gene enjoyed the birth of 3 grandchildren and 5 great granddaughters. Gene was an employee of Crystal Creamery for 35 years. He was born to Claude and Mattie Haley who preceded him in death along with his sister Zelda Allen of Manteca, brother L.B. Revell of Stockton, and grandson Cory Souza of Lodi. Gene was in the US Army in 1953. He enjoyed fishing and loved playing blackjack and bingo. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.

Bradley Litz
February 6, 1943 - March 26, 2018 Cherokee Memorial is honored to serve the Litz family.
Bradley Herbert Litz passed away on March 26, 2018 in Lodi at the age of 75, He was born February 6, 1943 in Sacramento, CA to Herbert and Bertha (Coupe) Litz. He married Mardella Mae Miller on January 29, 1967 in Lodi, CA. They have one son Philip Herbert Litz. He graduated from Chico State in 1967. Brad was in the banking industry for 30 years, and also worked for Quashnick Toll for 5 years. He was an avid reader of history, and Egyptian and Biblical Archaeology. Brad loved the mountains and outdoors. Many camping trips were enjoyed by son Phil, brother Del, and cousin Harvey. Brad and his wife loved going to Mendocino County for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife Mardella, Son Philip Litz, mother-in-law Frieda Miller, sister Faye Meyers (Jim), and sister-in-law Cheryl Litz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and his close friends Darryl & Sheryl Bettencourt, and Darlene and Rita Ravera.
He was a Member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, brother Delbert Litz, and father-in-law Calvin Miller.
Services
A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2400 Oxford Way, Lodi. Interment services precede church services the same day at 1:00 PM at Cherokee Memorial Park.
Donations are preferred to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Frank C. Alegre passed away on March 25, 2018 in Lodi, California. Frank was
born March 2, 1935 in Stockton, California to Joe and Vera Alegre. Raised in Tracy, California, he graduated from Tracy High School in 1950. Frank worked on the family dairy, and his father gave him the choice to go to college or get a new car. He chose the new car.
Frank met his wife, Helen Mayer, of Lodi in 1955 in Stockton, California. They soon eloped and were married on October 22, 1955. After working on the dairy for a couple of years, Frank decided it was not for him. He became a salesman for Stockton Hay and Grain and then Happyholm Feed in Lodi. Frank and Helen moved to Lodi in 1960. After selling feed for a few years, he bought his first truck in 1963. Frank’s business grew from 1 truck to several in the 1960’s, and in 1973 he incorporated his business to what it is today: Frank C. Alegre Trucking, Inc. Frank’s business grew due to his hard work and keen vision. He was creative and dedicated in his quest to become one of the largest family-owned trucking companies in Northern California. Frank had a no-nonsense attitude and was an extremely driven person. You always knew where he stood on issues, and he was outspoken and passionate about the things for which he cared.
In addition to his love for business, Frank’s love for family always came first. He coached numerous Little League Baseball and Pop Warner Football teams. He was a member of the Lodi Boat and Ski Club, an original member of the BOBS organization, and a member of the Elks Lodge for 49 years. He served on several City of Lodi Committees, and served in the National Guard. Frank was a dynamic person with a heart of gold once you got to know him.
Frank will be greatly missed by his sons, Frank Jr, Anthony (Kellie), and Gary; and grandchildren, Andress (Lacey), Audrey Georguson (Paul), Adrienne Sanchez (Mike), Adeline, Shandi Hunt (Jeff), and Alexander (Austin). He also leaves behind his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Sedona Alegre; Michael, Anthony and Mila Sanchez; Brighton and Briggs Georguson; Asen, Nova, and Emery Hunt; and Hayleigh, Madison, and Carson Alegre, siblings Dorothy Gonsalves, Bernice Gill (Joe), Dennis Alegre (Alice), and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Helen Alegre, brother Joe Alegre, and nephew John Gonsalves.

Friends and family are invited to attend visitation on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 12-8:00pm and Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 2-8:00pm with a Vigil service at 6:30pm at Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd in Lodi.
