The service will follow at 1:00pm on Saturday January 4th, 2020 at the Vineyard Chapel in Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Road, Lodi CA, 95240. The final committal will take place afterwards at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.

Virginia Price

July 13, 1934 - December 17, 2019

Virginia Ruth Price passed away on December 17, 2019 in Lodi, CA at the age of 85. She was born on July 13, 1934 to Donald Mulinix, Sr. and Ruth Stevenson in Toledo, Ohio. She worked for a time at China Lake Naval Weapons Center. Most of her life, she was an excellent homemaker and mother. Virginia’s #1 priority was family and made sure they felt the Love. She will be greatly missed.

Virginia is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Stevenson, Father Don Mulinix, Sr., and Step-Father William Stevenson; husband Alonzo S. Price “Lonnie”; sister Stefanie Barnes; also preceded in death by granddaughter Carrie Jo McFarland and great grandson James Alonzo Stewart.

She is survived by children Debra Jo Handel (Ted), Zoe Etta Line (Tom); grandchildren Kimberly Stewart (John), Elizabeth Loudermilk (Geoffrey); great grandchild Matthew Stewart; also survived by brother Don Mulinix, Jr (Shirley), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Ervin Mugele

August 8, 1934 - December 15, 2019

Born in Oakland, California but lived most of his life in San Joaquin County. Retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad. Survived by daughter, Darlene Vote; son, David Mugele; grandsons, Bruce, David; two great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by family and friends and especially his dog Diamond. Private services to be held at a later date.

Wesley Laskosky

September 25, 1937 - December 15, 2019

Wesley Laskosky passed away Sunday December 15, 2019 from a long illness. Surrounded by his family loving him and hearing their voices, he passed peacefully. Wesley was born on September25, 1937 in Stockton, California. He lived all his life in the Galt area. Wes served three years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed camping, sports, his garden, and making furniture out of old wood. He enjoyed life and being with his family.

He supported his family by driving truck. Starting in 1960 driving for Gus Melhalf.

He is survived by his wife Geri Laskosky, his children Monte Laskosky, Kimberlee (Barry) Muller, Michael
(Kim) Laskosky. Six grandchildren Adam, Wesley, Stephanie, Logan, Ryan and Jessica. Three great grandchildren. Many loving nieces and nephews and family members. He was preceded in death by his
mother Lena Kuck, two brothers Garvin and Teddy Laskoskey, sister Seona Gress. He will be deeply missed.

SERVICE
There will be a service on Friday, December 27th, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240. The service will then conclude at the
final committal in Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.

Lester Cook

August 17, 1925 - December 15, 2019

Lester Earl Cook, Jr., 94, was surrounded by family when he passed into the presence of his Lord on December 15, 2019, at Somerford Place Memory Care, Stockton, California. He is survived by Shirley, his wife of 70 years; sister, Barbara Staschke; children, Gregory, Kathleen, Daniel, Christine, Rebekah, Barbara; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He was born in Alexandria, Virginia to Ethel and Lester Cook and grew up in Denver, Colorado, graduating from Colorado Military School in 1943. During WWII Lester served in the US Navy as a radioman stationed in Guam. After the war he earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Divinity Degree from Talbot Seminary. He served as a pastor in Tracy before moving to Stockton where he began his CPA practice. During this period, he also taught accounting and bookkeeping at Humphrey's College and San Joaquin Delta College for 18 years. He retired from Libhart, Cook and Rosek Accounting firm at age 80. He was very active at Quail Lakes Baptist Church as an elder, treasurer and long time Bible teacher. He was also an avid photographer, furniture maker, bicyclist, backpacker and sports car enthusiast.

SERVICE
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 at 10:00a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
A celebration of his life will be held at Quail Lakes Baptist Church at 2 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2020 preceded by a family gathering for interment of his ashes at Cherokee Memorial Park. The community is invited to attend the memorial and asks that in lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the QLBC Foundation or to At the Well Ministries.
