Mary Barney

February 23, 1943 - May 9, 2020

IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Mary E. Barney, long-time resident of Stockton, Ca, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.  

She is survived by son, Everett Vance Moland and daughter, Evangeline Moland, two grandsons (Adolphus Tolver Jr and Byron Tolver), five adoring great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Mary was the light of their lives and will be solely missed but always remembered.

Jane Marie May

June 22, 1926 – May 8, 2020

Jane Marie May (Honey) of Stockton, CA passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family at the age of 93. Born in Akron, OH where she met and married, (60yrs) the Love of her Life, James R. May Sr. Her family moved to Stockton in 1968 where she taught a women’s self improvement course at Delta College. She also owned Studio One Modeling School and Agency where she was an inspiration to many. She loved world traveling with her family and especially enjoyed family S.N.D. (Sunday Night Dinners).

She is survived by 4 children, Sharon Bedwell (John), Marsha Crowder (Gary), Melody Matthews Chamberlain (Brett), James May Jr. (Donna) 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Melvin Barosso

August 21, 1938 - May 4, 2020

Melvin John Barosso born August 21st, 1942, died May 4th, 2020. Melvin was survived by his son, Todd Anthony Barosso, and daughters Dana Petri Barosso and Janna Nichole Barosso. He was a loving Nonno to his Grandson Vincent Antonio Barosso. Mel was the son of Louis and Bernice Marie Barosso.
Melvin was a San Joaquin County farmer for over 60 years. He was a graduate of Tokay High School and attended San Joaquin Delta College. Mel was a member of the Italian Athletic Club, the Italian Gardners Society, Loyal Order of Moose, National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited.
Mel loved fishing and hunting which he has passed down to his children.

We would like to have a memorial for Mel but due to present Covid-19 restrictions we are going to postpone his celebration of life for the near future.

David Mondavi

March 14, 1943 - May 1, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, brother and uncle. David R. Mondavi of Lodi, California passed away on May 1, 2020 at the age of 77.

David is survived by his wife, Eugenia "Gina" Mondavi; brother, John Mondavi; nieces, JoAnne (Tracy) Burgett, Annette Mondavi, and Cendy (Brian) Gorbet; great niece, Arianna Gorbet; great nephews, John and Nathan Gorbet; as well as, numerous cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Americo and Mary Mondavi; and his sister-in-law, Wanda Mondavi.

David graduated from St. Annes School, Lodi High School, and attended Stockton College. He was co-owner of Alexander's Bakery and was in the National Guard. He belonged to many Italian Clubs including the Italian Athletic Club and Liguri Nel Mondo.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or donor's choice.

Private interment at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum.

Marian Genuit

September 20, 1940 - May 1, 2020

Marian Genuit passed away May 1st after a short illness. She is survived by her husband Ron Genuit, daughter Therese Shipley and her grandchildren Brock, Grant And Tori Shipley. She loved to travel and attend her husband's ships reunions.

Private services will be held May 8th at Cherokee Memorial.
