Robert Lang

January 31, 1946 - July 20, 2020

Bob Lang, 74, passed away July 20, 2020 of a sudden illness. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna; daughter, Tammy Martinez; son, Tim Lang;  5 grandchildren, Kaylyn Sweeney, Emmy and Samantha Lang, Tyler Sweeney, and Parker Martinez; sisters, Betty Raile and Esther Eckman; and brother, Lester Lang of North Dakota.

He worked at Kaiser for 15 years as a mailroom clerk. Bob loved being with his family and friends. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and gardening. He was pure, kind, gentle and sweet. 
Bob will forever remain in our hearts.  Gone but not forgotten.

"He will be fishing in Heaven."

Carol Casillou

November 27, 1945 - July 20, 2020

Carol “Rosemary” Castillou-Nov. 27, 1945-July 20,2020 (74) passed peacefully in Stockton, CA. Born in Russellville, AR, moved to California in her early years and attended Tracy High School.

A passionate advocate for the local schools. Past volunteer of PTA of Waverly School. Past Member-Board of Trustees for Linden Unified School District. Past employee of U.S. Federal Government and retired from Stockton Unified School District as a Purchasing Technician. Bookkeeper extraordinaire and CFO of husbands plumbing business, Paul Castillou Plumbing.

Preceded in death by parents Fred and Lucy Miller, brother Everol Miller of Long Beach and infant sister, Rosalee.

Survived by husband Paul Castillou, sons Paul Castillou Jr. (Libby) and Brian Castillou. Grandchildren Andrew Castillou, Allyson Castillou, Catherine Castillou and Celeste Castillou.

Also survived by sister Henrietta Schaffer (Bill) of Rio Vista, CA, brother Jean Miller of Linden, CA and many nieces and nephews.

VISITATION

Due to COVID-19, Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home will offer a social distancing option for visitation. 831 Industrial Way Lodi, CA. Monday 7/27/2020 9am-12-pm. 

GRAVESIDE SERVICE

Graveside services will be private. No flowers please. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Lupus Society of Northern California or your favorite charity.

Kerry Ann McMahon

July 9, 1952 – July 19, 2020

Kerry A. McMahon “Corky” passed away on July 19, 2020 at the age of 68, surrounded by her sons. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. A witty, comical, loving and outgoing soul who left a lasting impression on all she met. As an avid sports fan, she liked the Clippers and Green Bay Packers but loved her Dodgers most of all! When she wasn’t yelling at the play-by-play on the TV, Kerry enjoyed spending time with her family, sons, and grandsons. Family was most important to her.

Kerry is survived by sons Jesse, Mac and Danny Padilla, along with their father Joe Padilla, Danny’s wife Jody, and grandsons Daniel and Andrew Padilla. She is also survived by six sisters, two brothers, several nieces and nephews, and her rescue dogs Runner and Gunner. She was preceded in death by her parents John McMahon Jr. and Marie McMahon, brother John McMahon III, sister Patricia McMahon, and son Joseph Padilla Jr.

SERVICES:

A private family interment service will be held in her honor at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery in Lodi on Saturday, August 1st at 10am. Masks and social distancing are required. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the local animal shelter – Kerry would have adopted every animal in need if she could have

Gary Yazalina

December 18, 1933 - July 18, 2020

Gary Warren Yazalina passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on July 18,2020 at the age of 86 years old. Gary was born on December 18, 1933 in Oregon.

After High School Gary enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served our nation from June 29, 1953 to July 2,1957. Gary’s character of service was Honorable. During his time in the Marine Corp he met his wife, Doris of 63 years. Gary graduated from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California. He later received a Masters Degree in Psychology and Sociology from USC. Gary dedicated his life to helping the young and old; and was very involved in setting up after school sports programs for the inner city youth and young adults. He was a devout and faithful Catholic. His professional career as a Juvenile and Adult Federal Probation Officer was a perfect compliment to his personal dedication to the lives of others. He served as an Officer of the Federal Department of Probation and Parole for San Francisco, Alameda, and Santa Clara Counties; and was awarded with appreciation for his service.

Gary enjoyed all of life’s activities: and he loved teaching, playing basketball, and long distance running with his co workers, who affectionately call him “Coach”. He also loved the SF Giants, the Sacramento Kings, and the SF 49ers.

Gary is survived by wife Doris and their four adult children, Rosie, Kathy and her husband Bob , Michael and his wife Christina, and Steve and his wife, Shawna; plus grandchildren Krista and Ryan Yazalina; Joseph and Jacqueline Stoesser; and Bayden, Christian James, and Madison Yazalina. All his children and grandchildren love him so much and enjoyed all the time spent together. He is also survived by his sister Warene McGhee and many, many, relatives.

James Clifton

September 14, 1947 - July 15, 2020

James Raymond Clifton, 72, of Stockton, CA passed away unexpectedly in the early morning of July 15, 2020. James was born on September 14, 1947 in Stockton, CA to James and Dorothy Clifton. He is survived by his sister and brother, Beth Mason and Spencer Clifton, his amazing wife of 50 years Rejeana Clifton; son James W. Clifton; daughter Amber E. Cardenas; as well as his grandchildren James, Jidaldy, Julian, Max; and in-laws Joy and Darlene Hanger; along with two nieces and two nephews.

James was a graduate of Stagg High School and San Joaquin Delta College. He retired form PG&E after 37 years where he earned the nickname "The Dragon." He especially loved his grandchildren, spending time with his family, gardening, and riding his tractor to plow the fields. He was an exceptional man of faith, kind, and humble, who always looked to God for help.

He was very patriotic and loved his country. James was a Vietnam War Veteran who served in the Army from 1968-70. His favorite pastime was playing the drums and played for multiple local bands and even recorded records. He was also studied martial arts for many years. He was not just a good man, but a great man, astonishing father, grandfather, friend, and person. Moreover, in the words of his daughter, "He was my Hero."

Toni Easley

March 4, 1946 - July 13, 2020

Toni Irene Easley (Hansen) 74 of Stockton, CA passed away on July 13, 2020. She leaves behind her loving husband, Jerry Easley of Stockton; Son, Tim Nixon & Wendy of Stockton; Daughter, Tracy Nixon of Linden; Son, AJ Nixon & Erika of Linden; Daughter, Tara Nixon Gonzales & David of Atwater. She also leaves behind twelve grand-children; Christopher, Cassie, Matthew, Brandalyn, Joey, Anthony, Hailey, Dean, Erik, Lauren, Curtis & Kenny as well as 17 great-grandchildren, 1 brother & 6 sisters. She was preceded in death by her mother & father Betty Marsh & Harold Hansen as well as her biological father Chuck Hannameyer.

Toni was born in Stockton, CA on March 4, 1946. Her family was her entire world along with her friends. She enjoyed her years as a bus driver for Linden Unified School District then owned the Linden Pizza Parlor and finally retired in 2010 from Bank of Stockton. She was a dedicated auxiliary member of the Ed Stewart Post & enjoyed getting together with her friends, playing cards, loved the beach and spending time with her family.

Lela Henne

September 20, 1935 - July 12, 2020

Lela Frances Henne of Lodi died July 12, 2020 after fighting the effects of a stroke suffered 4 1/2 years ago. Frances was born to Grover and Lela Baker on September 20, 1935 in Three Brothers, AR. Frances lived in Lodi for over 68 years and graduated from Lodi High in 1953. She was a teller at Bank of America for over 30 years. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with her husband, Fred Sr. Frances and Fred Sr. were fixtures at the Lodi Oriole, Lodi Dodger, Tokay football, basketball, and baseball games. She especially enjoyed the games when her son and then grandchildren were playing at Tokay. Every month Frances looked forward to the omelet breakfast at the Lodi American Legion Hall.

Frances is survived by her son, Fred Henne Jr. and daughter-in-law, Marena of Lodi; granddaughter, Kylie (Elijah) Hardin of Goodlettsville, TN; grandson, Ryker Henne of Lodi; grandson, Jason (Becky) Beilstein and great granddaughter, Aria of Rapid City, SD; sister, Jeanette Keeran of California, MO; sister-in-law, Linda Baker of Las Vegas, NV and many nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Fred Henne Sr.; her parents; brothers, J Will and Grover; and sister, Josephine Fanning.

There will be no visitation or funeral at this time. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Lodi American Legion Post 22, 320 N Washington St, Lodi, CA 95240, in Mrs. Henne's memory.
