Brenda Qualls

October 15, 1950 - June 13, 2022

Brenda Joyce Qualls was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and devoted Christian. She left this world on June 13, 2022 at the age of 71.

She was born to Kermett and Nadean Wheeler on October 15, 1950 in Arbyrd, Missouri. She moved with her family to Lodi, California in 1952. After graduating from Lodi High School in 1969, she met the love of her life, Roland Qualls. They were married for 52 years. Together they had one child, Shirley. Brenda was a proud Grammie to her two grandchildren, Miranda and Joseph and loving mother-in-law to Don. She was preceded in death by her brothers Kermett and Cecil, sister Patricia, mother Nadean, and father Kermett Sr.

Nothing was more delightful to Brenda than spending time with her family and fur babies. One of her greatest joys was being able to retire from the professional service industry to provide child care for her grandchildren. She spent countless hours playing with them, helping them with schoolwork, and providing them with numerous life lessons and opportunities. She enjoyed many camping, boating, and fishing trips during her life and was a fierce competitor at family game nights. She was an avid reader, a lover of musicals and classic movies, and always rooted for the underdog. Brenda took a genuine interest in the lives of others. She thoroughly enjoyed learning about their lives, and she offered support in any way she could. She never missed an opportunity to show her support for those she loved with a warm hug, a kind word, a listening ear, or a beautiful smile.
