Delores Hoornaert

January 21, 1939 - March 9, 2024

Delores Hoornaert passed away on March 9, 2024 surrounded by her family. Delores was born January 21, 1939 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She moved to California in 1940 with her parents, Elmer and Mary McGill, along with her siblings. On June 26, 1955, she married the love of her life, Alan Hoornaert. Together, they raised 4 children; Julie, Jeff, Janet and Jon. Over the years, they took countless vacations, enjoyed many laughs and celebrated it all. Soon, they began to spend those vacations and make memories with their 6 grandchildren; Jennifer, Matt, Joey, Samantha, Jeff and Josh. Many summers were spent at “the Pool House”, the family cabin and in Santa Cruz. Delores lived a life of love and family. She is preceded in death by her oldest son, Jeff. She is is survived by her husband of 68 years, Alan, her children, Julie (Steve) Sohm, Janet (Ole) Willhite and Jon (Daime Hoornaert), along with her grandchildren Jennifer (Chris) Strawmier, Matt (Jennifer) Maland, Joey (Stef) Willhite, Samantha (Troy) Swanson, Jeff and Josh Hoornaert and her 8 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give thanks to Bristol Hospice for their ongoing support and care of our dear Gram.

Private services will be held with the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 4910 Claremont Ave, Stockton, CA 95207.

Sharrel Howe

March 20, 1950 - March 6, 2024

Sharrel Howe, aged 73, of Stockton, California, was called home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2024. Born on March 20, 1950, in Portland, Oregon, she was a woman of warmth and grace, cherished by her family and friends.

An embodiment of love and kindness, Sharrel devoted her life to her family, whom she loved beyond measure. She was a pillar of strength, always extending a hand of support and a heart full of compassion to everyone she encountered. 

Professionally, Sharrel served faithfully as a retail clerk at Walgreens for over two decades, where her dedication was evident to all who worked alongside her. Her passions included the tranquility of painting and the beauty of tending to her garden, which brought much joy into her life and to those around her.

 Left to honor Sharrel and remember her love are her daughter, Kellie Drake, and son-in-law Aaron Drake; her son, Justin Howe, and daughter-in-law Tiffany Wano; as well as her adored grandchildren, Megan Day (Hobie), Robert Coley (Erika), Shelby Drake, Joey Howe, and Jacob Howe.

Sharrel joins in heaven her parents, Boyd and Norma Hubbard, her sister Phyllis Bogard, and brother Lester Hubbard, who preceded her in death.

VISITATION
A visitation will be held from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Monday, March 18th,  2024 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

SERVICE
A service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240. A reception will follow at the J. Charles Irwin Reception Center, located in Cherokee Memorial Park, located off Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.

Glen Casey

August 7, 1942 - March 2, 2024

Glen Casey, 81, of Stockton, sadly passed away on March 2, 2024. He was born in Poteau, Oklahoma, on August 7, 1942, to Garland and Armilda Casey. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Barbara Watts, and brothers Bob and Charles Casey, as well as his son Larry Casey.

He is survived by his sister Doris Workman of Oregon, his brother Bill (Ann) Casey of Oklahoma, his former wife Trannie Stoesz, his daughter Danielle Smith, his grandchildren Michael (Sarah) Smith, and Jennifer Love, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

He graduated from Franklin High school in 1960 and enlisted in the army shortly after. He started his welding career in 1965, which was something he truly enjoyed. He had a passion for traveling, with Alaska being his favorite. He had a love for the outdoors, particularly the mountains. Playing guitar was another hobby he enjoyed.

With unwavering strength  and tenacity he overcame the adversities that challenged him, serving as a true inspiration to those around him.

A funeral service will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park in the Evergreen Chapel on March 25th, 2024 at 1:00p.m.

June 2, 1950 - March 1, 2024

Irma Byron was born on June 2, 1950, in El Paso, Texas, and went to rest on March 1, 2024. At the age of 73. Irma was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Julia Noriega.

Irma is survived by her Husband Glenn Byron for 20+ years; Children;
Regina Neri, David Nerri II, Cynthia Neri and Laura Neri; Grandchildren;
David III, Katrina, Sabrina, Mikayla; Great-grandchildren; Evelyn, Juliana,
David IV, Owen, Dominic, Cameron, Layla; Siblings; Vedie Daclan (Felix),
Yolanda Delgado (Albert), Nancy Noreiga, Henry D Noriega (Marshand),
Norman M Noriega, Julian B Noriega.

Irma was a faithful believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. Irma served Jesus Christ for over 48 years. Her home church was Valley Christian Center in Valley Springs, Ca. Irma worked for San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools as an Instructional Aid for the Handicap. She retired after 32 years of service. Irma was a loving Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She will be truly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.
