Jeanette Patrick

January 4, 1962 - May 18, 2024

Jeanette (Schwyhart) Patrick passed away comfortably at home on May 18, 2024, following a long battle with cancer.

Long time resident of the Stockton and Linden area. She loved gardening and her two sons. In 2016 she found her calling in later life working for "In Home Support Services" (IHSS) through San Joaquin County, until two weeks before her passing. Her hours were long, but she truly enjoyed traveling and taking care of the elderly in their home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Patrick along with her parents, James & Ruthann Schwyhart. She is survived by her two sons, Christopher and Craig Patrick and her brothers Jeffery and Jearld (Jerry) Schwyhart along with many nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be held at, Cherokee Memorial Park (Highway 99 & Harney Lane, Lodi CA. 95240) in Lodi, California on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested that donations be made to, Hospice of San Joaquin or your favorite charity.

George Elliott

December 6, 1935 - May 16, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, George Lee Elliott; May 16, 2024. 

George (Papa) was a loving spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

George was born on December 6, 1935 in Herrin, Illinois he moved to Stockton, California where he lived a life full of joy and laughter.  He was a Navy Veteran, servicing our country at 19 yrs of age (1954-61). He touched the lives of everyone he met with his kindness, generosity, humor and big personality. 

George was the manager of Toyota of Stockton for several years and started his Business Geo’s Used Cars in the early 80's bringing his son into the trade. Being "The Car Guy" he raced at Stockton 99 Speedway  in the 70's and you could find him fishing the Delta, watching a 49ers game or a NASCAR race every weekend. 

George is survived by his sister Rosamary Robinson of Illinois, Daughters, Cherryl Kyes Collette (David) Teresa  Elliott-Austin (Stephen -deceased), First wife Wanda Elliott-Jividen, Stepdaughter:

 Carla Crawford (Jerry). Grandchildren Sean and Ryan Kyes, Stephenie Gubac. Greg, Julie, Natasha, Tammara, Matthew and Cecilia (CJ) and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be remembered for his warm heart, and unwavering love for his family.

George Elliott is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Jean Cobb Elliott, parents, Jack Elliott, Dorothy (Dot), Son, Allen Elliott, Son-in-Law Stephen Austin, and his Stepchildren:Rodney, Sherman, and Marla Prater along with his his 6 siblings.

George will forever hold a special place in our hearts and will be remembered for the love and joy he brought into our lives. May he rest in peace.

Arlee Huggins

March 23, 1941 to May 15, 2024

Arlee Ann Huggins of Lodi California passed away peacefully May 15,2024 in Sacramento, California. Arlee was born March 23, 1941 to Jack and Mary Sked. Arlee enjoyed growing up in Stockton. A graduate of Stagg High School, class of 1959. She married Raymond Huggins on December 1, 1962. Together they raised three children Jeff, Greg and Suzanne. They made a lively home, always welcoming family, friends and neighbors. As a wife/mom she provided a loving home for her husband and  children, she enjoyed being a classroom mom, camping, holiday gatherings. In 1979 she worked outside of the home at Mervyn’s. During her 15 years of employment she made lifelong friendships. She enjoyed her ladies Bunco group and their memorable outing’s. Arlee gained her beloved title as Nana in 1990. Nana treasured every moment she shared with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Greg (Vicky) daughter Suzanne (Ronnie) Grandchildren Holly (Brian) Andrew (Erica) Briana, Shelby and Caden. She leaves five great-grandchildren Ryan, Finn, Oliver, Adam, Allison and to Nana’s delight there is one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray and son Jeff. We are thankful to have had her in our daily lives. Our mom / nana will forever be missed.

V. Ruth Ebel

October 25, 1927 - May 15, 2024

V. Ruth Gimbel Ebel passed away peacefully at her home in Lodi on May 15, 2024. Ruth was born October 25, 1927, in McClusky, North Dakota to Henry and Carrie Gimbel as the 9th child of 13. During her early years, she journeyed with her family to Nebraska before settling in the Texas panhandle, where she formed lasting childhood memories. At Texline High, she was honored as homecoming queen during her junior year. In 1945, her family relocated to Brush, Colorado, where she completed her high school education at Brush High School.

Ruth and Elton J. Ebel exchanged vows in August 1963, celebrating their union in their cherished Lodi home, where they built a life together until Elton’s peaceful passing in April 2012. She spent her working life dedicated to nursing, graduating from Glendale Sanitarium Hospital in 1950 as president of her class. Ruth cherished her profession of over 55 years, working as a surgery nurse in various hospitals, and later in home care.

She found joy in travel, family gatherings, and various hobbies like cooking, gardening, and participating in church and community events. Ruth delighted in preparing special holiday and birthday meals for family, especially her beloved German chocolate cakes. Her favorite destinations included Carmel, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, San Francisco, and her cherished Jackson Property. Carmel held a particularly special place in her heart, as she made it a tradition to visit every year on her birthday with her loved ones. Additionally, Ruth was a devoted member of the Fairmont Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she faithfully attended for over six decades.

She is survived by her children: Craig (Lori) Lewis of Lodi and Frances (Jeff) Lebow of Huntington Beach, three grandsons: Joshua (Andriana) Lewis of Lodi, Byron Lewis of Lodi, and Jeremy (Jen) Sterling of Seattle, WA, four great-grandchildren: Liam, Ariana, Carson, Townsend, and her dear sister June Kelp of Elk City, OK. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Elton J. Ebel, and her siblings: Emil, Ruben, Louis, Henry, Benny, Betty, Leroy, Ann, Helen, Lillian, and Leona.

A graveside service will be held on May 23, 2024, at 10am at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery.

Wanda Albers

Wanda Joyce Yarborough Albers
July 9, 1936 - May 15, 2024

Wanda Albers passed away on may 15, 2024 with her family by her side.

Wanda was born on July 9, 1936 and raised in Victor, California. She was the only girl of nine siblings. Wanda got married to Delmer Albers in 1957 and moved to Lodi where they raised their three children. She was a homemaker and later worked as a dietician. Wanda was an amazing wife, mother, and nana. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bunco with her friends and baby sitting all her grandchildren. Wanda will always be loved, cherished and never forgotten. Heaven gained a beautiful angel.

Wanda was survived by her three children, Bruce Albers, Brenda Katzakian, and Renee Albers. Three grandchildren, Charles Katzakian Jr, Shelly Reynolds, and Nicole Albers. Six great-grandchildren, Madelyn Bitz, Shelby Katzakian, Wyatt Reynolds, Lexi Reynolds, Hailey Valentine, And Scott Katzakian.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Roy Yarborough and Nora Yarborough, Husband, Delmer Albers, and her eight brothers.

A memorial service will be held on May 30, 2024 at 10:00am at Cherokee Memorial Park in the Chapel of Flowers. A reception will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Reception Center.
