Clarrisse K. Graham

December 22, 1964 - February 4, 2026

Clarrisse K. Graham , 61, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026.

Leaving behind a legacy of spreading laughter, kindness, and joy.

Born and raised in Napa, she later made her home in Sacramento, where she built a life around being a mother. 

In her earlier years she humbly worked as a hospice health aide in the Bay Area, offering dignity and comfort to those who needed it most and later focused on her role as a Stay-at-home Mom. 

A member of New Life Christian Fellowship Church in American Canyon where she was an enigmatic personality and loving parishioner. 

Known for making friends in any situation, she was more than happy to give the shirt off of her back to anyone that might need it.

She was a beautiful person. Always proud of her children, with a corny sense of humor that could catch you off guard and make you laugh despite yourself. 

Full of rhythm, the kind that couldn’t be taught. She believed deeply in The Lord, in long naps, in love, in the magnitude of the ocean, in nature, in the healing power of music, in feeling things deeply, with her own signature flair.

She is preceded in Heaven by her Mother Shirley, Brothers John & Denzil, her Husband Harvey, and Brother-In-Law Eric.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Brishette, Brittany, Nathaniel, and her Daughter-In-Law Jude. 

Her grandchildren Skyla & Saint. Her vast family; Sisters Carolee, Claudette, Sabrina, Ericka, her brother Fred, and their families. Her nieces, nephews, and their children and partners.

All of whom will forever carry her quick wit, her warmth, and her love.

SERVICE
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 12:00pm in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA.

Sherrine Mary Troncale-Rios

Sherrine Mary Troncale-Rios
December 1, 1958 - February 3, 2026

Sherrine Troncale-Rios, 67, peacefully entered into rest on February 3, 2026 after battling cancer for nearly ten years. She was born in Los Angeles and lived with her parents and brothers. Her neighbors growing up were her aunt, uncle and three cousins and a very special family who became lifelong family friends. She attended Epiphany Catholic School in El Monte. As a teenager her family moved to Rowland Heights, California where Sherrine would live the majority of her life before moving to Lodi in 2025.

Beginning at a young age, Sherrine loved sports. Her Dad was a coach and the family spent many hours at basketball/baseball games and hosting open houses for all of the athletes. She followed her brother Anthony’s basketball team and brother Michael’s baseball team. She followed her nephew’s sports careers and recently saw her great nephew play basketball. For decades she followed sports on tv and would discuss games with her brothers and nephews. She and her husband enjoyed visiting stadiums and attending major league baseball games. She even traveled across the country to go the Hall of Fame induction of her favorite player, Mike Piazza.

Sherrine worked at Jacobs Engineering in Pasadena for 35 years making lifelong friends that she cherished. She loved baking, music, Disneyland, arts and crafts and shopping. She loved the color red, sparkly sunglasses, and her Santa hat. She made friends quickly in Lodi while living at Solstice and she enjoyed their many activities, adventures, and social events. She was a true dog lover having many fur babies over the years each with their own special place in her heart.

Sherrine was an inspiration to everyone she met and will be remembered for her unwavering faith. She was an active parishioner at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Rowland Heights. She approached her cancer diagnosis with the same strength that she lived her life. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and was always thinking of others. She was a daughter, a wife, an aunt, a sister, a Godmother and a true friend to many.

Sherrine was preceded in death by her husband (Anthony Rios) and her parents (Anthony P. & Josephine Troncale) and is survived by her brothers Tony Troncale (Dawn), Michael Troncale (Jennifer), nephews Anthony Troncale, Andrew Troncale and Daniel Troncale, her great nieces/nephews and her close cousins and friends.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
A celebration of life will be held at Solstice Senior Living in Lodi at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 and she will rest in peace with her husband at Cherokee Memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Animal Friends Connection Humane Society, 933 S. Cherokee Lane, Lodi CA 95240.

Darrell Raymond Burns Jr.

OBITUARY

Dr. Darrell Raymond Burns Jr. was born on May 3, 1932, in Seattle, Washington to Darrell Raymond Burns Sr. and Alice Mary Hastings Burns. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where like his mother Alice, he became a gifted storyteller, delighting family with tales of childhood adventures with beloved pets and summer days along the shores of Puget Sound with his younger brother Gary.

 The son of a gardener, Darrell developed an early and lasting appreciation for nature and local botany. By the age of eight, he knew he wanted to become a physician. His family later moved to California, where he attended Sequoia High School in Redwood City. There he played tenor saxophone in the school band, ran track, and graduated with a curiosity and discipline that would define his life.

 Darrell earned his bachelor’s degree in pre-medicine from Stanford University where he met Jeaninne, his future wife. Both graduated from Stanford and were married in the Stanford University Chapel, beginning a partnership that lasted 68 years and spanned life’s transitions, travels, medical challenges, and shared accomplishments.

 He went on to attend Stanford Medical School where he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Darrell often recalled memorable moments from his medical school years, including fainting during his first surgery observation. Reflecting at his 40th Stanford Medical School reunion, he said, “I am grateful for the time at Stanford, acquiring the tools to fashion a successful life and practice in medicine.” Darrell and Jeaninne remained lifelong supporters of Stanford athletics and the university’s alumni and medical programs.

 Darrell completed an internship with the U.S. Public Health Service, beginning in Seattle and continuing in Washington, D.C., where the couple welcomed their first child Keith, and later in Oklahoma, where Darrell provided medical care to members of the Cherokee Nation. The family then returned to San Francisco, a city he and Jeaninne loved, where he completed his residency at Kaiser San Francisco and was subsequently offered a position there. During this time they welcomed their daughter Kathleen into the world.

 From 1965 to 1969, Darrell served as Chief of Obstetrics at Kaiser South San Francisco. He later became Chief of Obstetrics at Kaiser Redwood City. Seeking greater autonomy and more personalized patient care, Darrell established a private OB-GYN practice in Stockton in 1971, with Jeaninne serving as his office manager – further evidence of their lifelong partnership.

 A pioneer in obstetrical care, Darrell advocated for fathers to be present in delivery and operating rooms providing the opportunity to participate in umbilical cord cutting.  He introduced the Lamaze and Leboyer methods to Stockton promoting gentler birthing practices. Darrell played a key role in the development of the NICU at St. Joseph’s Hospital. During his 29 years at Saint Joseph's he served on a variety of committees and positions including Medical Director and in 1997 became the full-time Medical Director of the first UC Davis OB-GYN clinic in Stockton. Over the course of his career, Dr. Burns delivered approximately 9,300 babies.

 In retirement Darrell devoted himself wholeheartedly to reading, cooking, exploring global cuisines and delighting in sharing meals with family and friends. He and Jeaninne traveled extensively throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Central America, the Panama Canal, Europe, England, and Ireland. Darrell was also honored to travel twice to China with a doctor ambassador program.

 Darrell and Jeaninne shared a lifelong appreciation for art and collected works by emerging California artists, an influence that led both of their children to earn degrees in art. Known for his cartoons and doodles for many years, Darrell, encouraged by Kathleen, pursued formal artistic studies in retirement at Delta College and the University of the Pacific. Working in a variety of mediums, he became deeply engaged in the local art community and created more than 200 works of art.

 Darrell was active in community life which included volunteer work with his local Rotary Club, book and play reading groups, bridge and poker circles, and outdoor pursuits including camping, backpacking, hiking, and kayaking. He was known as a positive, thoughtful, and generous man, a ready giver of hugs, a devoted listener, and a disciplined lifelong learner who remained physically active until shortly before his passing.

 Above all, Darrell cherished his family. His love of life, nature, beauty, food, and art lives on through his wife Jeaninne, their two children, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He will be remembered as a devoted physician, artist, mentor, husband, father, and friend, and a man whose compassion, curiosity, and creativity left a lasting impact on his patients, his community, and all who loved him.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 28, 2026, at Central United Methodist Church at 3700 Pacific Avenue, Stockton CA, 95204.

The service will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a reception and art display.

 In honor of his love for art and Hawaiian shirts please consider dressing colorfully.

Frank Michael Cappalla

July 13, 1949 - February 2, 2026

With heavy hearts, we share that Frank Michael Cappalla passed away on Monday February 2, 2026 at the age of 76.

Frank was known for his kindness, humor, loving and quiet demeanor, generosity, quick wit, and soft warm smile. Above all, Frank loved his family very much and was very proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. Frank was a devoted firefighter who spent his 25 year career working at Tracy Rural Fire Department, and was especially fond of cases where he was able to help children in need, a reflection of his compassionate heart. He brought love and laughter to everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Frank leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years Joan Cappalla, his two sons Kenneth and Dennis Cappalla, grandchildren Joseph (Orchid), Gina, Vincent, Kristen, great-granddaughter Audrey, and sister-in-law Beth Agnason, along with many friends whose lives were better for having known him.

OBITUARY

Elizabeth (Mary) Taynton, 93, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, in Fresno, CA after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Elizabeth (Mary) was born on December 27, 1932, in Lodi CA. She moved to England at a young age with her family and lived there during WWII. Her family later returned to Lodi where she completed High School. She attended Stockton Junior College and Sacramento State where she graduated with an Elementary Teaching Credential.

She married her husband Donald Taynton, whom she met during college, on August 27, 1955. She taught school prior to having her family and raising her children. Elizabeth was proceeded in death by her husband Donald in 2015 as well as her parents John and Neta May Richards of Lodi.

She is survived by her sister Barbara Zajec of Lodi, her children Donna LeBlanc (Paul) of Fresno, Laura Morrison of Turlock, and Matthew Taynton (Phyllis) of Vacaville as well as 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Everett Calzado

February 15, 1964 - December 30, 2025

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Everett Calzado, who died on December 30, 2025, at the age of 61. Everett was born on February 15, 1964, in Santa Rosa, California, and graduated from Manteca High School in 1982.

Everett worked as a farm laborer, where he spent many years driving tractors.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Calzado, and his brother, Steve Calzado. Everett is survived by his mother, Carol Calzado; his siblings, Carmelita Calzado, Eddie Calzado, and David Calzado; his daughter, Yvette Calzado; and his four grandchildren-three granddaughters and one grandson.

Everett will be remembered for his hard work and dedication to his family.

James Allen Flloyd

James Allen Floyd

June 15, 1955 - January 30, 2026

OBITUARY

Jim Floyd passed away at Hospice House of San Joaquin after a five-month cancer journey. He was born in Lodi and lived in Acampo most of his life. Jim graduated from Lodi High in 1972 and attended two years at Delta College. He grew up driving tractors on the family farm purchased by his grandfather in 1917 and was inspired by his parent’s renter to become a truck driver. He drove his own transfer rig for 48 years until retiring in 2023.

Jim was a Model A club member in his earlier years. He learned to play the organ at a young age and his father would play tapes of him playing at the Acampo post office during the Christmas season. He went on to play in a very popular high school band, Sunflower,  playing not only at school functions, but many others venues, as well. He also did studio recoding work. Jim was in many, many bands, Swing Shift and Night Shift being the most recent. He was a stellar keyboard player and well loved among the many fellow band members he played with. He was also a pilot and spent many years restoring a 1946 Stinson taildragger and didn’t learn how to fly it until after he built it. Jim’s favorite past time was motorcycle riding and seeing the country, and as far north as Jasper, Canada to the ice fields. After a dog named Buddy landed in our lives, he bought a side car so Jim, Jackie and Buddy could travel together in the open air.

Jim is survived by his wife Jackie Floyd and adopted brother Gary Floyd. He is preceded death by his father George Floyd and mother Dorothy Floyd. Jim chose not to have a service and his ashes will be spread along with his wife Jackie, when her time comes.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice House of San Joaquin, who were instrumental in Jim’s peaceful passing.

OBITUARY

Tito Cespedes Tandaguen, passed away at the age of 74.

He was born in Santa Maria Norte, Binalonan, Pangasinan, Philippines on April 28, 1951 to parents Rosalia Cespedes and Calixto Tandaguen. He retired as a machine operator from Johnson Controls after 15 years.

He is survived by his wife Julita Tandaguen, son Kenneth Tandaguen, daughters Kate Tandaguen and Kathleen So, and grandchildren Jasper Soriano, Joseph Sampayan, and Jaeleen Sampayan.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry Lee Hampton, 79, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Born in Lynwood, Ca on September 5, 1946, to Richard Earl and Elizabeth Jean. Larry served 2 years in the U.S. Army with a tour in Vietnam. Larry was a devoted Custodian of 26 years for Stockton Unified who loved classical music, tinkering, building things and dinners with family.

He is survived by his wife Joaneeta Hampton of Lodi, his daughter Paula and husband Ronald Ramos of Lodi and Son Gary Hampton of Jackson, Ca., and three grandsons Kyle, Morgan, Ryan, family and friends.

Preceded in death by his Father Richard Earl and Mother Elizabeth Jean, Brother Michael, Sister Linda, Granddaughter Jasmin Page Jean Hampton and nephew Michael.
