Evelyn M. Renfro was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 6, 1919, the second of 
ten children. She passed away in Lodi on August 6, 2016, at the age of 96.
Evelyn enjoyed 72 years of marriage with her husband Leroy, until his death in 2012. Together they raised four children; Roy, Dan (Patsy), Bill (Holly) and LaVerne (Gary). They were blessed with 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In her lifetime, Evelyn worked in the cannery near Winton, California, and for Kaul’s Nursery in Lodi, but her greatest joy was being a housewife and raising her children.
The family would like to thank Community Hospice for their care of Evelyn throughout her illness, and in remembrance of Evelyn, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 2195 W. March Ln, #2, Stockton, CA 95207.
