Pearl O’Sullivan

May 28, 1928 - November 18, 2018

Marie was born in Los Angeles to Thomas & Maudella Johnson.  She passed away months after her happy 90th birthday celebration with family & friends. She married Thomas (Sully) W. O’Sullivan, moving several times before settling in Stockton in 1956.  Sully died unexpectedly in 1959, leaving Marie a widow at age 31.  She was a strong, loving, independent woman who raised 9 children, and worked hard to support and guide them into adulthood.  She retired from San Joaquin Co. after 25 yrs.  She was a longtime member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.  She loved family gatherings, mysteries, crosswords, music and old movies.

She is survived by 6 of 9 children - Thomas P. (Lydia), Darrell (Mary), Kelley, Melinda (Chuck), Annette (Scott), and Kerry, and pre-deceased by 3 - Merlyn Anne, Maureen and Timothy.  She is also survived by 2 siblings - Darryl (Jeanette) Johnson and Nalda Grassini, and pre-deceased by her sister Margie.  She left behind 47 grandchildren spanning three generations!
