Ruth Mary (Nelson) Marsili, 95, passed away January 2, 2019. She was born in Alpena S.D., on February 20, 1923.
After moving to California in 1941, she worked at Rough and Ready Island in the shipping department.
Ten years later, in 1951, Ruth met her husband, and they had a successful grain harvesting business. Together they had two sons. After her husband passed away in 1963 Ruth was left to raise her small boys on her own. She continued to run the grain harvesting business until her boys were old enough to take over.
She loved being a homemaker in her Acampo home.
She is survived by her son Eugene (Mary) Marsili and preceded in death by her husband William Marsili, and son William J. Marsili (Billy).
