Dorthy Gonzalez

January 17, 1950 - December 16, 2020

Dorthy D. Gonzalez, 70, of Stockton, CA, passed away unexpectedly in her home on December 16, 2020.

Dorthy was born on January 17, 1950 in French Camp, California to Donald and Darlene MacCready. She married her husband Vince Gonzalez in December 1988. She attended high school in Manteca. Dorthy retired from Pacific Coast Producers in Lodi in 2016, where she held many different positions over the more than 30 years she worked there. Dorthy also enjoyed attending church as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was an avid camper who also enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with family. She was a proud breast cancer survivor.

Dorthy was preceded in death by her infant son; husband, Vincent Gonzalez; parents, Donald and Darlene MacCready; and sister, Dana Beasley. She is survived by children Christina and Stanley Chaves of Lodi, David Ramos and Julie Pinto of Modesto, Amanda Gonzalez of Stockton, Marisa and Alberto Gomez of Lodi; Grandchildren, Kasaundra Chaves, Alexandria and Jake Jones, Jacob Chaves, Mia Rangel, Sabrina Rangel, Dylan Gomez, and Jocelyn Gomez; Great-Grandchildren, Carter, Grady and Dorthie; Siblings, Donna Cardoso, Debra Stacy and Donald MacCready, Jr.; and many nieces, and nephews.

SERVICES:

A private viewing will be held with graveside service December 23, 2020 at 10:00am. Contributions in Dorthy’s name can be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
