Erwin G. Rall of Lodi passed away September 8th at the age of 94.
Erwin was born in Ashley, North Dakota on December 4, 1926 to Otto and Katherina Rall. Like so many at that time, Erwin brought his family to Lodi, California in 1955. He married his wife Mary in 1972.
Erwin has been a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church since 1955. He spent the majority of his working career at the City of Lodi, where he retired. As a “jack of all trades” Erwin spent his free time working in his shop on various projects and then became very interested in genealogy. Erwin and his wife Mary belonged to The Moose Lodge and Lodi Trailer Club. They were always working on interesting projects together, ranging from teaching upholstery to special needs adults to lively games of corn hole with the family at events (they always won!).
Erwin is survived by his wife Mary, his son Ron Rall, daughter Rita Lancaster, stepdaughter Lynnette Dinubilo, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Otto and Katherina Rall and daughter Linda Rall.
SERVICES:
A graveside service for Erwin will take place on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at 1:00pm at Cherokee Memorial Park located at Highway 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi, California.
