Alyssa McCullagh, 27, of Stockton, passed away March 19, 2025, leaving behind a world that was brighter for having known her. Born November 1997, Alyssa was a kind and compassionate soul whose love for animals shaped her life’s work and brought joy to those around her.
A graduate of McNair High School and Carrington College, Alyssa pursued her passion as a dedicated veterinary technician. She cared deeply for every animal she encountered, treating each with the same love and tenderness that she showed to her own beloved cat, Mia. Her gentle nature and unwavering kindness made her a favorite among coworkers, clients, and countless furry companions.
Alyssa’s love for animals was matched only by the love she had for her family and friends. Whether sharing laughter, lending a listening ear, or offering a warm embrace, she had a way of making those around her feel seen and valued. Her bright smile and compassionate heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents and siblings, she was a beloved niece and cousin.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE
A celebration of Alyssa’s life will be held at Cherokee Memorial in Lodi, Vineyard Chapel, April 14, 2025, where those who loved her can gather to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Second Chance Kitty (www.secondchancekitty.org) a tribute to the kindness and love she shared so freely.
