Robert Seward

November 27, 1955 - May 11, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert William Seward, who was called home on May 11, 2025, at the age of 69. He passed, surrounded by lots of love, in his home in Lodi, CA.

Robert was born to James and Irene Seward in San Jose, CA. The family relocated to Stockton where Robert attended school and as a young adult joined the Marines.

His employment career began with working at the El Rancho Inn in Stockton, later on at Culligan water and then spent many years as a  produce driver for Ratto  Brothers trucking Co. He also trained in small engine repair and began a lawnmower repair service.

Robert lived a life centered around his passions and the people he loved. He was a man of many interests; gardening, music, campfires and Nascar racing, were a few things that brought him joy.

Robert was known for his kindness, his straightforward honesty, and his remarkable ingenuity. With a knack for solving problems and fixing just about anything, he was lovingly referred to as a real-life MacGyver.

He approached life with a creative spirit and a generous heart, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Debra Seward, and his three children Roxanna Seward, Stacy Seward (Lucatello), Robert Seward and his brother, Lee Seward. He was the proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, all of whom he adored deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Irene Seward, and his sister Sharron Hudson.

Robert will be missed dearly by all who had the honor of knowing him. His spirit, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
