Angeles Alforque Pana
August 2, 1936 – May 16, 2025
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Angeles Alforque Pana, a woman whose life was a testament to the power of love, family, and delicious food. Affectionately known as Manang Angie, Mama, Grandma, and Lola, she was 88 years young when she passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at Lodi Creek Post-Acute, Lodi, CA.
Born in Cebu City, Philippines, on August 2 nd , 1936, Angie immigrated to Stockton, CA in 1983, carrying with her a rich cultural heritage and an unwavering devotion to her family. She was the heart of her family, a role she filled with boundless energy, infectious laughter, and, of course, her legendary culinary skills. Many cherished memories are woven into the fabric of her countless family meals; her cooking was as warm as her embrace. More than just a cook, she was a storyteller, a confidante, and a pillar of strength for her loved ones.
Angie’s life, though marked by the sadness of loss – preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Calixta; her sister, Rosalina; her husband, Bartolome, Sr.; and her son, Febbroel – was ultimately one of extraordinary richness and connection. She leaves behind a legacy of love that extends through her children: Lellibeth (and Larry), Elizabeth (and Bruce), Angelito (and Arlyn), Bartolome, Jr. (and Haidy), Lea (and Steve), Leonardo (and Annabel), and Nimfa (and Bryan); her eleven grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren. Their lives are forever touched by her warmth, her humor, and the enduring spirit she leaves behind.

A visitation will be held from 12:00pm - 1:00pm on Saturday, May 31st, 2025 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.
SERVICE
