Peter Georg Kohler
September 18, 1941 – June 20, 2025
Peter Georg Kohler passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, at the age of 83. Born in Berlin, Germany, on September 18, 1941, Peter immigrated to the United States at the age of 14.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired nuclear engineer at Mare Island. Peter enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and Märklin model trains, reading books- specifically science. And he loved the Beatles. Peter had a gentle and easygoing spirit. He found joy in good food, the comfort of home, and the vibrant colors of his trademark Hawaiian shirts.
Peter is survived by his beloved wife, Susana C. Kohler, whom he married on August 26, 2000. He is also survived by his son, Austin Kohler; stepsons, Jeff Sylvia and John Sylvia; stepdaughters, Karren Calip and Kimberly Hernandez; and his grandchildren: Caleb, Haley, Lana, Aydenn, Kylee, Azelynn, Aubree, and Aleynna.
He was preceded in death by his child, Yraine Kohler.
VISITATION
A visitation will be held from 9:00am - 12:00pm on Friday, July 11th, 2025 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

A service will be held at 12:45pm on Friday, July 11th, 2025 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.
