Louise Mangili

In Loving Memory of
Louise Marie Mangili
January 30, 1930 – June 24, 2025

Louise Marie Mangili, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at the age of 95. Born in Stockton, California, Louise was the devoted daughter of the late Giacomo Carlo Corsiglia and Angelina Zolezzi Corsiglia.

Louise was the loving wife of the late Andrew Peter Mangili and a devoted mother to Michael (Lauren) and the late Patricia Stewart. She was the proud and adoring Noni to her grandchildren: Nicholas (Audrey), Anthony (Leah), Joey (Caroline), Andrew Stewart, and Sara Stewart Hicks. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Luca, Zora, and Brooks, who lovingly called her Noni.

Louise’s life was a testament to love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to family. She was the heart of every gathering, known for her extraordinary cooking and baking that brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable meals.

She dedicated many years as the manager of the central kitchen for the Stockton school system, where her work nourished countless students and staff. Beyond her professional contributions, Louise was a passionate supporter of her grandchildren’s activities, rarely missing a game, recital, or celebration. Her enthusiasm for sports and family milestones was unmatched.

Louise’s love extended beyond her immediate family. She was affectionately known as “Auntie Lou” to many, including James Lagorio and his children—Marilyn, Richard, Steven, Robert, and Carol—whose love and support over the years brought her immense joy and comfort.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Louis Corsiglia, her husband Andrew, her daughter Patricia, and her grandson Andrew Stewart.
