Theresa De Lashmutt

April 20, 1963 - August 18, 2025

Theresa Anne De Lashmutt, age 62, of Stockton, passed away on August 18, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stockton, California. She was born on April 20, 1963, in Stockton and was a proud resident of the city for 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ysidro G. Armenta and Virginia C. Armenta, and her brother, Manuel E. Armenta.

She leaves behind her beloved spouse, Richard J. Pelchat, who stood by her side through all of life’s joys and challenges.

Theresa was a devoted mother and mother-in-law to Virginia B. Garcia, Lydia R. McFarland, Tereyl McFarland, Daniel De Lashmutt Jr., Melissa S. De Lashmutt, Kimi L. Pelchat, Avion Thompkins, Kristi N. De Lashmutt, and Joseph J. Martinez.

She was a loving grandmother to Micah A. Samuel, Zephaniah A. Samuel, Neriya R. McFarland, Nina-Simone McFarland, Ayven T. McFarland, Emiko S. Thompkins, and Olivia A. De Lashmutt.

Theresa is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Joe Armenta, Benny C. Armenta, Lydia Gonzalez, Gloria Armenta, and Virginia Hernandez.

Theresa was a valued and respected Secretary at William McKinley Elementary School and dedicated over 20 years of service to the Stockton Unified School District. She will be most remembered for her genuine kindness, her unwavering love for family, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.

She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

VISITATION
A visitation will be held from 12:00pm - 1:00pm on Friday, September 5th, 2025 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

SERVICE
A service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, September 5th, 2025 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240. The final committal will immediately follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240. A reception will follow at the J. Charles Irwin Reception Center, located off Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.
