Angelina “Lina” Lapuz, 96 years old, a devoted and passionate mother, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 20, 1929, in Plazang Luma, Arayat, Pampanga, Philippines. She migrated to the United States on December 26, 1987.
Lina dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband of 65 years, Ernesto Lapuz, and their seven children. Lina ‘s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and fostering a loving environment. Lina instilled her strong values and religious beliefs in her family. Up until the end, Lina maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, appreciation of beauty, love of family, and friends. She expressed gratitude for her long life full of excellent and varied experiences.
SERVICE
Lina is survived by her children, Losbert, Merlyn, Sally, Arnel, Helen, Ernesto Junior, and Anita. She has 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Lina’s life will be held on September 26th at the Cherokee Memorial from 9:00 am to 12 noon.
