OBITUARY
Wanda Marilyn Dyer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, at the age of 87.
Born on June 18, 1938, Wanda was a strong, kind, and gentle woman who devoted her life to caring for others and keeping her family close and strong. She was the steady heart and leader of her family.
Wanda shared 66 devoted years of marriage with her beloved husband, Kenneth. Together they built a life rooted in partnership, laughter, and hard work. They were especially passionate about their mountain cabin at Prather Meadows, where many treasured family memories were made.
She worked alongside Kenneth in running the family auto repair business and dedicated herself to creating a home filled with love and stability. Wanda loved gardening, traveling, and taking road trips, including two cross-country journeys. She cherished time outdoors and especially loved being with her family at the cabin.
A talented seamstress, Wanda made dresses, school clothes, and Halloween costumes for her granddaughters, expressing her love through creativity. She also enjoyed baking, particularly during Christmas, when she created traditions her family will always remember.
Wanda was the daughter of Elmer and Mary Lakey and is now reunited with her beloved husband and her parents.
Her life was marked by strength, devotion, and love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
SERVICE
A graveside service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, March 6, 2025 at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.
