Florence Daijogo

June 4, 1931 - February 6, 2026

Florence “Flo” Daijogo passed away after a short illness in Lodi on February 6, 2026 at the age of 94. Born in Sacramento, California on June 4, 1931. She was interned to Tule Lake, California and then to Minadoka relocation center at Hunt, Idaho during WWII.  After the war she moved to Lodi, attended Needham School and graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1950.  She met Jim and married for 61 years before his passing 2012.  She was employed by the Lodi Unified School District for 32 Years, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, watching sports on TV, family trips to Lake Tahoe and having lunch with friends.  She enjoyed emailing her friends and especially spending time and texting with her granddaughter Sydnee. She was a member of the Lodi Buddhist Church. She is survived by daughter, Janice Nakamura (Glenn), granddaughter Sydnee Casey and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Ichiji and Fusayo Honda, brother Mas Honda, sister Patsy Sato and brother Tom Honda.  No service per her request and she is interned at Cherokee Memorial Park.
