Loris Dawn Enzminger, 88, of Lodi, died March 25, 2026, following a short illness. She was born to Emil and Emma (Broschat) Martin on July 2, 1937, at New Rockford, North Dakota.
At the age of 7 she moved to Lodi with her family. She attended Lincoln and Needham schools, and graduated as valedictorian of the Class of 1954 at Lodi Union High School. She worked as bookkeeper at Goehring Meat for many years, and then at Hole Free Fruit in Victor.
Loris married her high school sweetheart, Elden Earl Enzminger, on February 10, 1956. They were married 38 years until he passed away June 16, 1994, and were blessed with 2 children.
Loris was a member of First Baptist church of Lodi since 1947, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and serving as church clerk, financial secretary, in the Women’s Missionary Fellowship, and volunteering in the church office. She attended all of her high school class reunions, and recently served on the committee. She enjoyed music, reading, working with numbers, and over the years was treasurer of several organizations.
Loris is survived by her daughter Debbie Sue Willlisams (and husband Mike) of Galt; son, Darren Todd Enzminger, of Lodi; and Melynda Cadenhead, who was like a daughter to her. Also, 2 grandchildren Curtis Williams and Brooke Hummel (Russel) and 6 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Nicolas, Jackson, and Macimus Willimas and Charlee and Jaycee Hummel.
MEMORIAL SERVICE
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at First Baptist Church Lodi on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to First Baptist Church, 267 N. Mills Ave. Lodi, CA 95242.
