July 6, 1951 - April 11, 2026
Sokha Sao was born on July 6, 1951, in Cambodia, the oldest of eight children. He was known for his warm spirit, kind heart, and the joy he brought into every room. Whether through his bright smile, playful sense of humor, or his generosity toward others, Sokha left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
In his younger years, he served in the military in Cambodia and met his First wife, Samouen Te. Together, they endured the hardships of the Khmer Rouge before eventually finding refuge in Thailand. They were sponsored to Come to the United States, settling in San Francisco, Ca, on June 1975.
A devoted provider, Sokha worked tirelessly to support his family. One of His greatest passions was cooking. As a talented chef, he found joy in preparing meals and bringing people together. Above all, his family was his greatest Treasure, and he always put them first.
He is survived by his beloved current wife of 18 years Voeung Sam, his Children Jennifer, Chhanda, Sandy, Robert, Nolan, Shirley, Jason, and Kenneth. As well as his Eighteen grandchildren and six Great-grandchildren. His legacy Of love, resilience, and generosity will live on though all who knew him.
SERVICE
A service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.
