Elnora Yvonne McInturff

April 18, 1938 - April 16, 2026

Elnora (Ellie) Yvonne McInturff, 87 passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, in Lodi, CA. She was born April 18, 1938, to Everett Good and Audrey Kennon and lived in Black Jack, Missouri. She moved to Concord, CA in 1950 and attended local schools. She met her husband Les McInturff and married in 1955. They moved to the country in Galt, CA in 1960, built a house and raised their four children.

Ellie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend to many. She was also a long-time member of Temple Baptist Church, now GracePoint Church and always had a love for our Lord and Savior. For many years, she and her husband Les would help the Awana Club at Temple Baptist Church supplying ceramic ornaments for the youth to paint. Her church family knew her to be a very hard-working individual with a very kind heart. She always enjoyed talking with anyone and was known as “sweet Ellie”. She enjoyed going to church, took attendance for her Sunday School classroom, and volunteered at many of the Celebration of Life services. She was also a longtime member of the Heart in Hand Quilt Ministry at GracePoint Church, helping to raise money for local charitable organizations. Her passion was being a seamstress; however, she also enjoyed embroidery by including her work on the many pillow cases and kitchen towels sold at the annual quilt faire.

Ellie’s career consisted of working for various financial institutions, Frontier Savings, Gibraltar Savings & Loan, Tokay Savings, finishing her career at Stockton Savings & Loan as a Loan Servicing Manager. She retired in early 2000 to care for her husband.

She is survived by her two children, Linda Fyffe (Kent) and James McInturff (Colleen), four grandchildren, Bryan (Jill) Caldwell, Kevin (Kristen) Caldwell, Curtis McInturff, and Hannah (Wesley) Fox; five great grandchildren Xander, Caleb & Riley Caldwell, Caelyn Caldwell, and Halle Fox. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie McInturff, sons David and Steven McInturff, and one grandson Jeffrey McInturff.

SERVICE

A Celebration of Life will be held at GracePoint Church at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to GracePoint Church (Benevolent or Building Fund) or a charity of your choice.
