Mary Jane Tisher, a long-time resident of Stockton, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on November 2, 1941, Mary Jane lived a life full of dedication to her career, adventure, and deep devotion to her family.
For many years, Mary Jane was a familiar and welcoming face in the local community through her work as a banker at the Bank of Stockton. Her professionalism and warmth touched many who knew her throughout her career.
Beyond her work, Mary Jane had an adventurous spirit and a love for life's simple pleasures. She was always ready to go places, whether it was catching a bus trip to explore new cities, traveling out of state to visit cherished family, or finding excitement at the slot machines in the casino.
Mary Jane is survived by her two sons, a brother, and a sister, who will all carry her memory forward.
She is now reunited with her beloved parents, James Wehe and Mary Costello, as well as her cherished husband, Don Tisher, and her dear daughter, Valerie Venable, who both preceded her in death. In a beautiful tribute to their eternal bond, Janie and Don will be laid to rest next to each other.
Mary Jane’s warmth, energy, and love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, July 9th, 2026 at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.
