Audrey Kissler

April 21, 1927 - October 10, 2018

Audrey Scott Kissler passed away on October 10, 2018 in Lodi at the age of 91. Audrey was born in Bakersfield, CA to Hubert and Eula Scott, and at a young age moved to Modesto, where she attended local schools, eventually graduating from Modesto Jr. College. She then went on to receive her Bachelors Degree from the University of Southern California. She worked for over 30 years as a Physical Therapist. Audrey enjoyed golf and travelling, and especially enjoyed music - singing in the Choir at First United Methodist Church in Lodi.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James "Jim" Kissler; her parents; and a sister Thelma Harris. She is survived by her children: Linda Diane Rhodes (Scott) and Brad Kissler; grandchildren: Lewis Callahan (Heidi), Stefanie Kincaid, Troy Kissler (Brittany); great grandchildren: Peyton, Conner, Zoey, and Barret; and by her siblings: Donald Scott and Dona Nagel.

A funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at  Harney Lane and Hwy 99, Lodi, CA 95240. Committal follows services in the Sierra View Mausoleum. Viewing will take place starting at 1:00 pm to 1:45 that same day at the Chapel of Flowers.

Donations are preferred in lieu of flowers, and may be made to the P.E.O. Star Scholarship. The Scholarship was established in 2009 for high school women attending any accredited school in the US or in Canada. Checks are payable to P.E.O. Martha Schatz

December 21, 1934 - October 8, 2018

Martha M. Schatz passed away in Lodi on October 8, 2018 at the age of 83. Martha was born on December 21, 1934 in Hoyt, OK, to Dora and Clay Kemp. Her family moved to San Joaquin County while she was very young, and she attended school in Thornton, Bruella School in Acampo and Lodi High School. She married Raymond Schatz in 1953, and their loving, committed marriage lasted nearly 65 years. Martha was preceded in death by her daughter Connie Lessner.

She is survived by her beloved husband Ray Schatz; son Ricky Schatz (Kristie); grandchildren: Alex and Bradley Schatz, Janel Lane, Steven Alberg, and Aaron Lessner; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Wayne Miller

May 15, 1929 - October 3, 2018



Wayne Otis Miller passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in Stockton, CA. He was 89. Mr. Miller was born on May 15, 1929 in Williamsport, PA to his parents, Charles Otis and Nellie Mae Miller. He graduated from Stockton High School in 1947 before serving in the Army where he was stationed in Georgia during the Korean War and made lifelong friends. After the war, he continued his education and obtained his CPA license. He married Juneve Zoe Miller in 1954. They lived in Stockton and shared a love of travel, often visiting Canada for the weekend to enjoy the sights and food. After beginning his career at accounting firm, Lyman & Keister, Wayne spent most of his career as an independent CPA. After his retirement, he dedicated his remaining time to traveling, spending time with his family and keeping up with the stock market. Always an avid sports fan, he also loved watching sports, especially college baseball and football. He especially loved cheering for his grandkids' games in person when possible.

Mr. Miller was a patient man and his easy going nature made him easy to talk with. He was well respected and well loved by all who met him. Mr. Miller's adventurous spirit meant he was always up for visiting new places and trying new foods, especially with his family or friends to accompany him.

Mr. Miller is survived by his children, Victoria Kamm, Pamela Harris and Bradley Miller; his brother, Lynn Miller; and his six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Juneve and his daughter, Kerryn J.Z. Miller.

A public memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Cherokee Memorial Park in the Evergreen Chapel at 1pm. The interment and a reception to celebrate Mr. Miller's life will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association, the Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of your choice.
