Rita Blanco Sanchez

May 22, 1927 - April 16, 2019

Rita passed away on April 15th, 2019 with her family by her side in Lodi, California. Rita was born May 22, 1927 in Lamanda Park, California to her parents Severiano Blanco and Maria Saucedo- Blanco. She lived the majority of her life in Acampo and Lodi, California. She married the love of her life Jesse Sanchez March 5th, 1955. Rita and Jesse built their home in Lodi where they raised their two children, Norma and Michael. Rita was a homemaker, she loved to cook and spend time in her garden.

Rita is survived by her daughter Norma Licciardi. Grandchildren, Melissa Sanchez, Tina Licciardi, Michael Sanchez, Anna Heinrich, Stacey Licciardi, and Tracie Licciardi. Great Grandchildren, Michael Sanchez Jr., Giselle Sanchez, Josh Licciardi, and Glory Licciardi. Siblings, Elia Valasquez, Virginia Hinojosa. She was preceded in death by husband Jesse Sanchez, and son Michael Sanchez.

VISITATION:

The visitation for Rita will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2019 from 2:00am to 8:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

SERVICES:

A service for Rita will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 215 W Walnut St Lodi, CA 95240

Arlo Faul

January 24, 1925 - April 15, 2019

Arlo A. Faul, of Lodi, CA passed away April 15,2019, with his family and friends at his side. Arlo was born on January 24, 1925 to Charles and Bertha Faul of Harvey N.D. Arlo was also a veteran of the Army. Arlo is survived by his children Jerry and DeAnn. Arlo is preceded in death by his wife Delores, and his sons Terry and Barry.

SERVICE
A Graveside service will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240 on April 29,2019 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a Celebration of Life at First Baptist Church on Mills Ave. following the service.

Lydia Dimas

September 19, 1949- April 14, 2019

Lydia Rose Dimas 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Lydia was born on September 19, 1949 in Stockton, CA to Alfred & Rose Cisneros. The youngest of three children, Lydia attended local schools from grade school through high school. During her middle school years she held
records for female athletes & ran track. She married her high school sweetheart Anthony Dimas and together they started a family. While raising her children, she sought to help those in need. She was an
integral part of bringing the WIC program to San Joaquin County during her time with Planned Parenthood and assisted in various other Planned Parenthood programs to help women. After leaving Planned Parenthood, Lydia began her work as a Title Officer. This position she held for 35 plus years. During her tenure she over saw the numerous development changes that happened in her home town.

Due to Fibromyalgia & Rheumatoid Arthritis she was forced into early retirement. Lydia was a free spirit yet family oriented. She loved music, antiquing, good food, holidays & birthdays with family, gardening, and any trip or adventure as long as she was surrounded by those she loved. Those who loved & knew her well also called her Woody.

Lydia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and numerous loved ones and friends. She is survived by her 3 siblings-Helen Davila, Alfred Cisneros and Frances Cisneros. Her 3 children; Raquel "Rocky" (Rick) Small, Angela "Angie" Flores and Anthony "Vito" (Chelsea) Dimas. 11 Grand Children- Jessica,
Whitney, Amanda, Cesar Jr, Ricky Jr, Matthew, Deyja, Christina, Sean, Jackson & Charlee. 9 Great-Grand Children- Courtney, Mila, Amya, Laylah, Cesar III, Alexia, De Angelo, Sofia and Joey. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family and close friends.
VISITATION
A visitation will be held on Thursday May 9, 2019 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm with the rosary at 6:00pm at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

SERVICE
Mass will be held Friday May 10, 2019 at 10am at St Luke's Catholic Church, located at 3847 N. Sutter St. Stockton CA, 95204.

Patrick Rogers

March 17, 1937 - April 11, 2019

Patrick was born in Stockton on March 17, 1937. He passed away on April 11, 2019. Following graduation from Tracy High School, he was employed by the H. J. Heinz Company. After working at the Tracy factory for many years, he was assigned to the Heinz facilities in New Jersey and Ohio before returning to California. Patrick retired as West Coast Factories Manager after a 43 year career with Heinz. Post-retirement Patrick was employed by the San Joaquin County Office of Education where he worked on "The Partnership for Tomorrow -- School to Career" project for four years. Later he returned to work as Business Manager for Stockton Civic Theater. Patrick was Past President of the Greater Tracy Chamber of Commerce. He served as a member of several community organizations including Sutter-Tracy Auxiliary Board and the San Joaquin Business Council. He was co-founder of the Tracy Industry Education Partnership which worked with Tracy area high school students and area businesses to encourage career exploration between students and businesses. He was a member of Presentation Church, an altar server, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Patrick is survived by his beloved wife and closest friend Coraleta (Feary) of 36 years. A brother Clarence (Clancy) Rogers of Valley Springs. Four children: Karen Rogers; Steven Rogers ; Brian Rogers (wife Tisha) and their children Colby Rogers and Mallory Rogers; and Anthony Franks (wife Christina) and their four children Andrew Franks, Gregory Franks, Brittney Franks, and Lauren Franks.

SERVICE
There will be a Church Mass on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 at 10:00a.m. at The Church of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located at 6715 Leesburg Place, Stockton CA, 95207.

Bernard Johnson, Sr.

April 10, 1917 - April 7, 2019

Bernard Darold Johnson (Barney), born in San Francisco, CA on April 10, 1917 to Albin Clifford Johnson and Lyra Robertson, passed away on April 7, 2019 at the age of 101. Barney is reunited with his wife of 63 years, Doris Mae Johnson, who predeceased him in death. He is survived by his children Stephen Darold Beattie; Bernard Darold Johnson Jr.; Joan Elaine Gabrielson, and; stepdaughter Sadaea Deann Lax. He also leaves 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and, 2 great-great grandchildren.

Barney graduated from San Juan High School in Sacramento (Class of 1936) where he lettered in football and baseball. Barney graduated from UC Davis (Class of 1941) with a degree in agriculture and began his career with PG&E in Lodi, CA.

The day after the attack on Pearl Harbor and the U.S. joining World War II Barney enlisted in the Navy, serving from 1941–1946. He began his military training at Notre Dame and soon became a commissioned officer. He served the Navy's needs stateside, including being trained to direct ship fire to shore. Barney became a liaison officer with the Marine division advancing in the Alaskan Aleutian Islands. After returning to the mainland he was honorably discharged from the Navy at which time he resumed his 38-year career with PG&E, retiring in 1979 as a lead-supervisor in the Vallejo-Napa district. Barney was a lifelong avid fisherman. His many volunteer activities included being a 4-H leader, manager of Little League teams, assistant Scout leader, and a Sunday-school teacher. He and Doris were devout members of the First United Methodist Church, becoming active Stevens Ministry disciples. For the past four years Barney has lived at Arbor Senior Living. He felt a deep friendship with the residents, his caregiver, and the staff. Barney was appreciative of the lifestyle, warmth, and connection he had with all.

The memorial service will be held May 11th at 11:00 at the Lodi First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Oak Street, Lodi CA 95240. There will be a light lunch at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barney's memory to the Lodi First United Methodist Church. For directions please check the church website or call their office at 209-368-5357.
