Ralph Hiatt

December 31, 1931 - April 4, 2021

Missionary Rev. Ralph Wesley Hiatt was born on December 31, 1931 to Lester and Rachel Hiatt in Portland, Oregon. He went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the age of 89. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Frances, his sister, Joyce Solomon, and his brother, Melvin Hiatt. He is followed in death by his sister, Joanne Stradley, five days after his passing. He is survived by his sister, Carol Six of Washington State. Ralph is also survived by his recent wife, Janie Hiatt Flatt, his sons and their wives, Ron and Elisabet Hiatt, Tim and Cheryl Hiatt, and Mike and Mary Hiatt, and his grandchildren, Michelle and Tyler Slacks and Evan Hiatt. 

 Having graduated from Southern California College (now Vanguard University), Ralph received his ministerial license in 1955 with the Assemblies of God and his ordination in 1958. While serving as the Senior Pastor of Colfax Assembly of God in 1963 with his wife, Frances, they answered the call to missions. They became appointed missionaries to Argentina in 1963 and served faithfully for 46 years. During their tenure in Argentina they helped plant 43 churches and mentored Argentine believers to pastor each church. Through their evangelism work and partnership with the Church in Argentina, they made an eternal impact for the Kingdom of God. Upon moving back to the United States in 2001, the Hiatts continued to be a blessing to Argentina, congregations, missionaries, and the local church. In early 2010, Rev. Ralph & Frances officially retired as Assemblies of God missionaries and she passed away in late 2010. Ralph continued his call to the Lord and impacting the Kingdom right up to his final days.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 16th, 2021 at 10:00a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi, CA 95240.

Emil Reichert

November 07, 1923 - April 03, 2021

Emil Reichert was born 1923, in Isabel, South Dakota.  He passed away April 3, 2021, in Lodi at the age of 97, following a brief illness.  His wife Martha of 73 years of marriage, preceded him in death in 2018.  They are survived by both children; Jim Reichert (Linda), and Janice Hausmann (Don).  He has five grandchildren, Donald Hausmann, Jon Hausmann, Sarah Reichert, Allison Uhls, and Cynthia Reichert: five great grandchildren, Cassandra, Tasha, Kaitlyn, Robert, and Madison; he has two great-great grandchildren, Eva, and Evelyn.  Emil is survived by his brother Marvin Reichert (Deannie), and sister Gladys Patrick (Bob).  Proceeding Emil in death was his father John Reichert and mother Bertha Schnabel, his sisters Ruth Dague, Edna Sand, Martha Goodwyn, and brothers Eddie, Herman, and Frank Reichert.

Emil is a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lodi.  His church family was especially important to him. 

Emil was raised on a farm, joined the Merchant Marines (Coast Guard) during WW2 and traveled the world.  He worked various jobs until 1956, he joined the Lincoln Village Fire Department.  After 9 years with the fire department, he went back to farming, then bought a truck and drove truck for over 20 years, traveling all over the USA.  He retired from trucking and enjoyed working on the landscape at Christ Lutheran Church.  In his retirement years, after his wife died, he enjoyed starting every day with breakfast at Richmaid Restaurant in Lodi.

VISITATION

A viewing will be held from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021, in Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

SERVICE

The family will hold a graveside service at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Building Fund at Christ Lutheran Church, 13009 N Elderberry Ct, Lodi, CA 95242.

Michael Allen

July 15, 1952 - April 3, 2021

Michael Bill Allen of Acampo, California passed away on April 3, 2021 peacefully at home among loved ones.

Mike was born on July 15, 1953 in Anniston, AL to Wilson Allen and Hysie Harbin. He was successful with his companies; Allen & Sons Construction and Slipstone Inc. His highly ambitious nature affected all who interacted with him. Mike had a curious nature, he was always investigating the mysteries in life. Mike enjoyed building hot rods and put countless hours into his projects, he always finished what he started.

Mike treated everyone with respect, treating all as equals.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Wilson, and his mother, Hyise. He is survived by his wife Pam, his two children Micheal and Jared, and his grandchildren Aaron, Lexy, Alicyn, Zack, and Bryson.
He will be forever loved & missed.

Victoria Frestedt

December 26, 1939 - April 3, 2021

Victoria Frestedt, a long-time resident of Stockton, California died peacefully in her home on Saturday April 3, 2021.    Victoria was born in Sonsonate, El Salvador on December 26, 1939 and immigrated to the United States in 1981.  She married Ray Frestedt in 1982, and they then settled in the Stockton area in 1986.  Victoria worked as a home health aide caring for elderly.  It was work that she loved, and she cherished the families she worked with. 

Victoria had a fierce love for her family and a great passion for life!  She helped anyone she came across who was in need.  She was generous, compassionate and if she met you, she likely treated you like family and welcomed you into her home.  She loved to talk about good times with friends and family. She loved to garden and cultivate beautiful, colorful flowers. She loved to collect angels, read her bible and go shopping.

Victoria was a member of Mayfair Seventh Day Adventist Church in Stockton. She was a great woman of faith who loved the Lord. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Frestedt, her mother Maria and father Carlos, her 3 sisters Rita, Mercedes, Julia and her 2 brothers, Alberto and Antonio. 

Victoria is survived by her son, Cesar Torres and his wife Yanira of Stockton; daughter Susana Nolley of Stockton; grandchildren, Cesar Jr., Bryant, Stephanie, Brenda, Edward, Jonathan and Aba; great grandchildren, Cesar, Bryan, Marley, Lukas, Amelia and Katharina. She is also survived by a large extended family of many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly, and many close, longtime friends, both here in the United States and in El Salvador. Everyone that knew her will miss her love of life, her smile, her kindness, and generosity.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 30, 2021 from 9am-12pm and memorial service beginning at 1:00 p.m., all in the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Pastor Rudolph Peters officiating. Caroline Jimenez of Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home assisting in the arrangements.

Vincent Dooley

July 10, 1954 - April 1, 2021

Vince Dooley of Lodi, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.

Vince was born July 10, 1954 to Vernon and Eileen Dooley in Tracy, California and was the 5th of 7 siblings. He attended St. Bernards Catholic school and graduated from Tracy High School in 1972. He then earned his AA degree from Delta College. Vince worked as a Journeyman Sheet Metal worker before his 30 year career at East Bay Municipal Utility District. He was an avid woodworker, metal worker, and loved hunting, fishing and camping. Vince spent his retirement traveling to several NASCAR tracks around the country with family and friends. He kept very busy tackling a never ending list of projects. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren.

Vince is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandy of Lodi; his children, Greg (Janine) of Stockton and Ken (Anne Zimzores) of Lodi; his grandchildren, Kenna, Kyle, (their mother Kether Dooley), Michael, and Jameson; his siblings, Larry (Carol) of Napa, Bette Kirchgatter (Robert) of Florala, AL, Margaret (Steve) Guerrettaz of Brentwood, Rita Dooley ( Michael Evans) of Lodi, Steve (Rosemary) of Tracy, and Loretta Dooley of Groveland; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

The family would like to express their gratitude to those that have helped over the past year. Your help and support meant so much to Vince.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
