Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Mona Pelletier called the Grand Canyon State home for most of her life before moving to Elk Grove, California. It was in Arizona that she met and married her dear husband, Roger Pelletier. After retirement, Mona and Roger settled in California to be closer to their loved ones. Mona treasured family gatherings, especially Easter celebrations and festive Christmases. Charlene Nunez

November 26, 1957 - June 15, 2025

Charlene Renee was born November 26th, 1957, in San Andreas, California to Charles and Nancy (Mora) Wolfe.  She spent much of her childhood in the mountains in the small town of West Point and her adolescence in Milpitas.

Renee, as her family called her, endured a catastrophic car accident when she was fifteen that impacted her health over the course of her life and ultimately caused brain tumors that she succumbed to.

A devoted young mother, she had three girls, Christina, Angie and Danielle, that she raised in Stockton California.  She was a hard worker, always finding a way to be a full-time mom and providing “the extras” for her girls.  Everything from selling Avon and Amway to running special events at Sherwood Mall.

Renee married her second husband, Jose Nunez, on June 7th, 1997, and her family grew to add his children Nina and Felix.  She ran a home day care for years developing deep relationships with the families and children she served.

Renee loved to throw a party.  Christmas was her favorite time of year and to this day she has enough decorations in her storage to decorate any event.  She believed more is better, had enormous energy, a big laugh and a wild spirit.  She was happiest when she was planning our next event weather that be a wedding, birthday party, holiday celebration or BBQ – each and every event was treated as the most important way to celebrate life and the people she loved.

She believed in God and clung to His grace and strength to get through the days for the last several years.  She attended Harvest Bible as often as her health allowed. Charlene is survived by her husband Jose, her children and many grandchildren, as well as her mother Nancy Mora, brother Randy (Philis) Dickson, and sister Andrea Mora.
