Dane Condrey

March 3, 1955 - September 29, 2025

Dane Hardin Condrey, 70, of Stockton, California, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 3, 1955, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to James Montgomery Condrey and Lorna Maxine Condrey, Dane was the beloved younger brother of Christina Campos. He is now reunited in heaven with his parents, sister, and his wife, Linda Beth Condrey (Hemans), with whom he shared 28 beautiful years of marriage.

Dane was a devoted father to his three children: Jeremy Condrey, Dana Dacanay and her husband Robert Dacanay, and Kristen Condrey-Pamani and her husband Russell Pamani. He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him endless joy.

A proud veteran, Dane served in the United States Marine Corps, enlisting on September 5, 1973, as a US Marine. He was honorably discharged, carrying with him the values of service, dedication, and resilience.

For over 30 years, Dane worked with Delta Hawkeye Security, where he was admired for his loyalty, strong work ethic, and commitment.

Outside of work, Dane found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time with family and friends, camping under the stars, casting a line while fishing, cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, enjoying good food, and browsing for treasures on Amazon. His kind heart, silly sense of humor, and easygoing nature made him a friend to all and a hero to his family.

He will be remembered most as “Papa Dane,” whose love, laughter, and warmth will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

The Condrey family takes comfort in knowing he is reunited with his loved ones and will continue to watch over them. He will be loved and cherished always and forever.

Earl Neal

April 20, 1944 - September 29, 2025

Dr. Earl Andrews Neal, born April 20, 1944, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, at the age of 81. A dedicated physician for over 40 years, Earl served his community with compassion and care through his work with Kaiser Permanente and later with Sutter Health.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Theodosia Neal; his sister, Theo Neal; and his beloved wife, Sandie Neal.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Jennifer McGranahan (Chris), Scott McCall, and Jeffrey Neal (Heather); his nephew, David Neal; his grandchildren, Megan, Haley, Alex, Payton, Regan, Kieran, Drew, Joshua, and Ryan; and his great-grandchildren, PJ and Owen.

Earl will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his patients, his deep love for his family, and his kind and steady presence in the lives of all who knew him.

He will be greatly missed.

Patrick Murphy Slamon

November 1, 1945 - September 27, 2025

Patrick Murphy Slamon, age 79, passed away at Lodi Memorial Hospital on Saturday September 27, 2025. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 1,1945. He graduated from Hilltop High School, Chula Vista, CA in 1963 and went on to earn his BA at San Diego State University. Then years later earned his Law Degree at Humphrey’s University, Drivon School of Law. He was a 50 year resident of Stockton, CA and served as Assistant Deputy District Attorney for 20 years in San Joaquin County.  His hobbies and interests included painting, music, hot air balloon pilot, bodybuilder and surfer. He was a good husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was an extremely intelligent man with a very high IQ. He was a generous man who was always willing to help his family, friends and neighbors. He is survived by his wife Maria, his son Johnny, his brother Ken and sister in-law Judy, his brother Steve and sister in-law Patti and his beloved nephews and nieces Sean, Shannon, Kelli, Alison, Brian and Sandy. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Betty Williams

November 12, 1927 - September 27, 2025

Betty Williams was born November 12, 1927, and passed away September 27, 2025, a few weeks shy of her 98th birthday. She was born in Nebraska and spent most of her childhood in South Dakota, as one of twelve children. She was very close with her parents and siblings.

Betty went to St. Vincent’s College of Nursing in Sioux City, Iowa and later worked in the polio ward of Denver General Hospital. Soon after graduation she met George Williams, a doctor finishing his training at the University of Colorado. They were married on September 12, 1950, and moved to California so that George could report to the Oakland Naval Station Hospital, where he served during the Korean War. Ten months later Mary Jo was born, followed in quick succession by Lou Ann, Jeri, Mike and Gina. They moved to Lodi in 1953, where Betty had family. Betty was busy raising her children but also found time to travel, play golf and her favorite pastimes were shopping and following her Giants and 49ers. She was the life of the party; she loved to entertain, and she and George had a busy social life. They played golf in all 50 states and several other countries. When her children were grown, she and George bought a second home in Manzanillo, Mexico, where she spent many winters and enjoyed making new friends.

Betty knew she was blessed to live a long, happy and healthy life. She loved spending time with her growing family, including her son-in-law Blake and daughter-in-law Stacy who were both very special to her. She and the entire family spent annual summer vacations in Lake Tahoe and holidays in Lodi. A phenomenal cook, she hosted every Thanksgiving and Christmas in her home, preparing everyone’s favorite dishes on her own well into her 90’s. She was “Ticker” to George, and she was “Nana” to her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In just the past few months, Betty was thrilled to learn about an upcoming wedding and another baby on the way. She made everyone giggle with her email name of “Beefeater Betty,” a fun reference to her nightly cocktail ritual.

Her family misses her already, but she leaves us with an incredible legacy of love and affection. “Nana” stories will be part of her legacy for generations to come. She will be missed.

Services for Betty will be a private family affair. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the George and Betty Williams scholarship fund at Saint Mary’s High School, 5648 North El Dorado Street, Stockton, CA 95207, Attention: Sharon Caporusso.

Artemio “Teo” Loredo

In Loving Memory of Artemio "Teo" Loredo
1951 – 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Artemio Loredo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1951 and passed away on September 25, 2025 from heart failure in Stockton, California.

Artemio spent his early years in Indio, California, before relocating to Stockton, California in 1975, where he made his home and built a lifetime of memories surrounded by family and friends.

He was a true car enthusiast, known for his love of lowriders and classic cars. Whether he was working under the hood or polishing a finished project, cars were his passion and his art. His dedication and creativity inspired everyone who knew him.

Artemio was also a devoted sports fan who never missed a chance to cheer for his favorite teams — the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees.

Above all, he was a man with a big heart — someone who cared deeply for his family and brought laughter and warmth wherever he went. His love, kindness, and strength will be deeply missed but forever remembered. He is survived by his loving family - his wife of 56 years, Tommie Loredo, his children, Rachel Loredo, Artemio Loredo Jr., Theresa Loredo-Rodriguez and Valeri Loredo, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit, his humor and his unconditional love.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories that will live on through all who knew him.

Rest in peace, you will always be in our hearts.

Andrew Battaglia

November 29, 1934 - September 23, 2025

Andrew Joseph Battaglia, age 90, of Acampo, California, passed away peacefully on 09/23/2025. He was born on November 29, 1934 in Pittsburg, California. His family came to Pittsburg, California from Sicily as fishermen. He lived and raised his family in Fremont, California. He loved sports. While living in Fremont he was a little league baseball and CYO basketball coach. He loved playing cards with his buddies on Friday night. Once he retired from his career as a Sales Manager in 1998, he moved with his wife, son and grandchildren to Acampo. He loved spending time with his five grandchildren. He was often seen riding in the passenger seat of his golf cart while his ten year old granddaughter drove him around the property. He had a very kind soul and was liked by everyone he met. He was a very loving Father, Nonnu and husband. He lived his life following the path of his faith. Even during his last days he would say I love you and blow kisses. He will be greatly missed.

Paul Banfe

Marvin “Paul” Banfe
December 7, 1941 – September 22, 2025

Marvin “Paul” Banfe, 83, of Lockeford, CA, went to rest in Jesus on Monday, September 22, 2025, after a prolonged illness. Born in Park Falls, Wisconsin, on December 7, 1941, to Stephen and Margaret Banfe, Paul lived a life defined by hard work, faith, love, and service.

From an early age, Paul had a gift for building, something he carried into his career. After graduating from Wisconsin Seventh-day Adventist Academy and completing technical school, he entered the construction trade, specializing in the installation of gas stations. In 1979, Paul’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to found JePa Construction, where his reputation for integrity and craftsmanship flourished. He retired in 1993, proud of the work he had accomplished with his own two hands.

In 1981, Paul married the love of his life, Shirley. Together they built not just a home, but a life filled with shared passions, southern gospel music, quiet evenings in Cape Fair, Missouri, and adventures on the road as they traveled the United States. Wherever they lived—be it Wisconsin, Missouri, or later California, Paul’s life was deeply rooted in his faith and his church community. He found great joy in lending his skills and energy to support his congregation, and his gentle kindness touched all who worshiped alongside him.

Though dedicated to his work and his faith, Paul’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley, his four sons - Keith (Arna) Banfe of Kettle Falls, WA; Darren (Lori) Banfe of Colville, WA, Rich (Stephanie) Banfe of Elizabeth, CO, and Nick Banfe of Pearce, AZ and his two stepdaughters, Nancy (Steve) McNeal of Stockton, CA and Kathy (Walt) Scheffer of Woodbridge, CA. Paul’s legacy also lives on through his seven grandchildren and one great-grandson, each of whom carry forward the values of love, perseverance, and generosity he instilled. He is preceded in dead by his four siblings, sisters, Edwina Williamson & Susie Meekma and brothers, Ray & Jerry Banfe.

Those who knew Paul will remember him as a hardworking, industrious man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Whether it was his church, his children, or a neighbor in need, Paul gave of himself with quiet humility and a full heart.

A graveside service was at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, California, where family and friends gathered to celebrate a life well lived.

Paul’s journey on this earth has ended, but his spirit - steadfast, kind, and filled with faith, remains with all who were blessed to know him.

Dale Hill

February 20, 1941 - September 22, 2025

On September 22, 2025, our beloved Papa, Dale Hill, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 84. Born February 20, 1941, Dale lived a life defined by faith, family, and love.

A devoted man of God, he never missed an opportunity to share his passion for the Lord with anyone who would listen. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he strived to live each day as a reflection of Christ's love.

He married the love of his live, Jane, with whom he shared a deep and enduring devotion. Their marriage was a shining example of faithfulness and joy. Today, we rejoice knowing they are together again in eternity.

Dale leaves behind his loving daughter, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, each of whom he cherished deeply. To us, he was more than a father and grandfather-he was our steady guide, our encourager, and our beloved Papa. His presence was a blessing in every milestone of our lives, and his legacy of love will live on in us all.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Lincoln Presbyterian Church in Stockton California.

Though our hearts ache with his passing, we take comfort in his lasting words, in his steadfast faith, and in the peace of knowing he is home with the Lord.

Mary Louise Pineda
July 11, 1940 - September 21, 2025

Mary Louise Pineda passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the age of 85. Her parents were Luis M. Sanchez and Mary H. Sanchez.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose P. Pineda. She is survived by her children, Valerie Dominguez (Robert), Stephanie Kaehler (John), and Roman Pineda. Siblings, numerous grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A service and rosary will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, October 6th at the Vineyard Chapel in Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N Beckman Road, Lodi, CA 95240. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, October 5th at the Merlot Room in Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Road, Lodi, CA 95240.

Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane. 

Mass will be offered for Mary Pineda on the following dates, October 13, 2025 at 8:00am and October 17, 2025 at 5:30pm at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 215 West Walnut Street, Lodi, CA 95240.

Wilma Zahorowski

September 2, 1940 - September 18, 2025

Wilma Marguerine Zahorowski of Lodi, CA passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home and surrounded by family and friends, on September 18, 2025 at the age of 85. She was born in De Queen, Arkansas on September 2, 1940 to Albert and Lenora House. She was raised the youngest of three siblings, having one sister, Bonnie Davis, and one brother, Marion “Buddy” House.

In 1960 she married John Zahorowski. They celebrated 65 years of marriage earlier this year. They raised two children, Jeffrey Zahorowski of Lodi, CA and Pamela Carmen of Portland, OR. Wilma and John moved to Lodi from Concord, CA in 1970.

Wilma will be remembered for the constant love and care she poured into everything she did. In 1966 she left the secretarial profession to devote herself to being a full-time mother. She volunteered as a Den Mother for her son’s Cub Scouts pack, and led a group of Bluebirds, and later Campfire Girls, for her daughter. She volunteered at Vinewood School in the 1970’s as a teacher’s assistant. In 1980, once her children were old enough, she worked in the front office of dental practices for local dentists Harry Bader and Craig Yarborough, and later Henry Zastrow and Michael Schmierer. She provided a smiling face and warm welcome for many patients. She also volunteered for the Pregnancy Resource Center (now Directions Medical Clinic). Later she started her own day care business providing loving care for many local children. Her love for children was a continuous thread running through her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lenora House, her sister Bonnie (Carl) Davis, and her brother Buddy House. She is survived by her husband John Zahorowski, son Jeff (Renee) Zahorowski, daughter Pam Carmen, granddaughter Britni (Daniel) Limon, grandson Tyler Cain, and great-granddaughters Camila and Olivia Limon.

Viewing will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park in the Merlot Room on Thursday, October 2 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Lodi at 11:00 A.M. on October 3rd.
