Katherine Marie Corum

October 20, 1939 - April 22, 2026

Katherine Marie Corum, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 22, 2026, in Lebanon, Tennessee. She was born on October 20, 1939, to parents Loren Peck and Bertha Billingsley Peck in Boise Idaho. As a young child, she moved with her parents to Stockton, California, where her brother, Richard, was born. Katherine lived close to family and would spend time with her aunts Marie and Beth.

She was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and always had love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She found many opportunities to serve others in church assignments and in other ways by being a pianist and organist, a Sunday School teacher, a chorister and a librarian. She was also a blood donor and shared well over 10 gallons with her community.

Katherine was the first member of her family to earn a college degree. She graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education and received a teaching credential. She spent her career working as an elementary school teacher in the Stockton Unified School District. She worked at several schools including Pulliam Elementary, and Nightingale Elementary but spent the majority of her later years teaching at Tyler Elementary School, from which she later retired. After retiring, Katherine moved to Tennessee to be closer to her sons and their families.

In addition to teaching she had many other talents and hobbies including piano, flower arranging, sewing, embroidery, making blankets, bike riding and she loved Foster’s Freeze and Fox News.

In addition to her many talents, Katherine was a great mom to her four kids. She was always there for them when they needed her. She showed up to football games and high school band concerts. She listened to electric guitar and drum practices. She welcomed their friends and even unofficially adopted a few of them along the way. She made an effort to care about the things her kids cared about despite being a single mom for many of those years. As her kids grew to adulthood she continued to build close relationships with them. She loved them all unconditionally. She became a listening ear and a sounding board for them. She also found great joy meeting and getting to know her grandchildren. She was a quiet strength, had a big heart and loved her family deeply. She will be missed by them greatly.

Katherine is preceded in death by her parents Loren and Bertha Peck, her brother Richard Peck, her daughter Sally Corum and 6 half siblings, She is survived by her children Marc (Teresa) Corum, Loren Corum and Linda (Jim) Glover, her grandchildren Sam(Sean) Stidham, Andy Glover, Ryan Glover, Ireland Corum, DJ Matheny, Zack Matheny and great-granddaughter Hazel Stidham.

OBITUARY

J. Charles Irwin of Lodi, California passed away on April 21, 2026 at the age of 79. “Chuck” spent over 40 years as the President/CEO of Cherokee Memorial Park and Funeral Home, where his leadership, vision and integrity were instrumental in making it what it is today.

Throughout his career, Chuck was known for his unwavering commitment to the community, his steady integrity, and his belief in treating every family with care and respect. Under his direction, Cherokee Memorial Park grew not only in size, but in its reputation as a cornerstone of support during life’s most difficult moments.

He took the utmost joy in providing for his family to the best of his ability. Chuck will be lovingly remembered for his enduring faith in Jesus and unconditional love for his family. He is survived by his wife Marsha, his son, Zachary, his daughter Laura, and his two granddaughters.

SERVICE

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 27, 2026 at 1pm at Vineyard Chapel, Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 Beckman Road, Lodi, California. Interment will take place in Garden of Angels at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, California.

Elnora Yvonne McInturff

April 18, 1938 - April 16, 2026

Elnora (Ellie) Yvonne McInturff, 87 passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, in Lodi, CA. She was born April 18, 1938, to Everett Good and Audrey Kennon and lived in Black Jack, Missouri. She moved to Concord, CA in 1950 and attended local schools. She met her husband Les McInturff and married in 1955. They moved to the country in Galt, CA in 1960, built a house and raised their four children.

Ellie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend to many. She was also a long-time member of Temple Baptist Church, now GracePoint Church and always had a love for our Lord and Savior. For many years, she and her husband Les would help the Awana Club at Temple Baptist Church supplying ceramic ornaments for the youth to paint. Her church family knew her to be a very hard-working individual with a very kind heart. She always enjoyed talking with anyone and was known as “sweet Ellie”. She enjoyed going to church, took attendance for her Sunday School classroom, and volunteered at many of the Celebration of Life services. She was also a longtime member of the Heart in Hand Quilt Ministry at GracePoint Church, helping to raise money for local charitable organizations. Her passion was being a seamstress; however, she also enjoyed embroidery by including her work on the many pillow cases and kitchen towels sold at the annual quilt faire.

Ellie’s career consisted of working for various financial institutions, Frontier Savings, Gibraltar Savings & Loan, Tokay Savings, finishing her career at Stockton Savings & Loan as a Loan Servicing Manager. She retired in early 2000 to care for her husband.

She is survived by her two children, Linda Fyffe (Kent) and James McInturff (Colleen), four grandchildren, Bryan (Jill) Caldwell, Kevin (Kristen) Caldwell, Curtis McInturff, and Hannah (Wesley) Fox; five great grandchildren Xander, Caleb & Riley Caldwell, Caelyn Caldwell, and Halle Fox. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie McInturff, sons David and Steven McInturff, and one grandson Jeffrey McInturff.

Lana M. Hammerstone

Lana, a beautiful wife and proud mother of three handsome and accomplished sons, passed away with her family by her side on April 15, 2026. Lana was born in Stockton CA on May 14th, 1949 to Michele and Mary Ellen Pricola and was a lifelong resident of Stockton. After graduating from Cleveland Elementary and Stagg High School, Lana quickly completed the Maud Cornell Business program and began her career as a legal secretary in the District Attorney’s Office. It was there that she met Jim; they fell in love and then married.

Lana took a gap in her work to love and raised her three sons. Words cannot express the depth and constancy of her love for her sons, James, Christopher and Robert. There truly was nothing that she would hesitate to do to insure their happiness.

Lana is survived by her husband, Jim, her sons and their wives, her sister Jolinda and nieces and nephews. Lana’s parents, her brother Butch and her sister Darlene predeceased her.

Lana was blessed with seven grandchildren: Jacob and Ryan (James and Kelly); Landon, Maison and Dillon (Christopher and Courtney) and Adra and Emma (Robert and Lindsey).

OBITUARY

Stanley Nels Sogsti, 78, of Lodi, California, peacefully passed away on March 15, 2026, with his family by his side.

Stan truly said “yes” to life and was one of the most positive people you could ever meet. He was born on March 11, 1948, to Margo and Nels. After graduating from Lawndale High School in 1966, Stan began his career with Allstate at the age of 20. 

In 1976, he met the love of his life, Joanne Light, and they were soon married. Together they created a family of five girls, two from Stan (Cherie and Michelle) and three from Joanne (Melanie, Stephanie, and Julie.) They built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. September 17, 2026, would have marked their 50th wedding anniversary.

Over the years, Stan wore many hats—starting as an Allstate adjuster and eventually rising to sales manager through numerous promotions and relocations. A five-time Key Manager Award winner, Stan ranked among the top 15% of sales managers in the United States. His success allowed him and Joanne to travel to destinations such as Hawaii, Florida, Palm Springs, Bermuda, and Mexico.

A dedicated and hardworking man, Stan pursued his real estate license while working full-time and raising a family, becoming a part-time realtor with Century 21. At age 40, he took on another challenge—returning to school while working 50 hours a week. In June 1989, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco. 

Stan retired from Allstate in March 2003, achieving his goal of retiring early “while all his body parts still worked.” From 2003 to 2007, he and Joanne traveled across all 50 states in their 35.5-foot Teton fifth-wheel RV—a journey of a lifetime.

In retirement, Stan embraced his passions: RV camping, photography, stained glass art, motorcycle riding, and travel. Together, he and Joanne explored all 50 states and 16 countries.

Never one to slow down, Stan returned to work in a variety of roles. He served as a CPR instructor with the American Red Cross, proudly teaching life-saving skills to doctors, nurses, EMTs, and paramedics. He later worked as a field operations officer for the U.S. Census Bureau, overseeing 144 employees, and as a bailiff in the San Joaquin County Civil Court. He also worked for the City of Stockton supervising parking attendants across 19 locations.

From 2018 to 2023, Stan drove for Uber and Lyft, completing over 14,000 rides and maintaining a 5-star rating. He cherished the opportunity to connect with people and often said he never had a bad ride—always learning something from every passenger.

Stan had a deep love for law enforcement and dedicated 27 years as a volunteer lieutenant with the Lodi Police Department. He played a key role in developing the Partners Driver Certification Course, delivered numerous training lectures, and served as a lead instructor for the Partners Academy. Over his service, he logged more than 11,000 hours and received numerous honors, including Volunteer of the Year and two Meritorious Service Medals.

A natural leader and connector, Stan helped grow the Code 5 RV group from just four couples to 62 rigs. True to their spirit, the group avoided formalities—no meetings, dues, or boards—just monthly outings and a shared motto: “No use is abuse.”

Stan was a dedicated and active member of the Golden Anchor Boat Club, where he served in numerous leadership roles over the years, ultimately holding the club’s highest honor as Commodore. The Delta held a special place in his heart, offering the peaceful waters and relaxed atmosphere he treasured most.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Margo and Nels, and his daughter Melanie, who passed away from a brain aneurysm in 2020.

He is survived by his beloved wife Joanne; his children Stephanie, Cherie (Greg), Julie, Michelle (Mac); and a large, loving family he was immensely proud of. His twelve grandchildren include Trever (Trista), Chelsea (Kyle), Nicholas, Akhie, Sophie, Samantha, Grace, Stella, Ellie, Tanner, Chloe and Kylie. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren: Cadence, Brilee, Kenton, Bennett, Keaton, Leila, Lennox, Ellie, Harlee and Mac. He is further survived by his brother Steve, niece Stephanie (Chris) and their daughter Charlotte, and nephew Steve (Rebecca) and their children, Kaden and Annika.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to organizations Stan deeply cared about, including the Lodi Partners Program and his Diabetic Support Group.

OBITUARY

Lee Rossiter Johnson, age 80 of Lodi, CA peacefully passed away January 16, 2026. She was born October 16, 1945 in Missouri to Charles Allen and Patricia Rossiter.

A proud Daddy’s Girl, Lee grew up in Chicago and graduated from Maria High School, an all-girls Catholic school, in 1963. Her thirst for knowledge and her love for the Word of God led her to Florida Bible College, where she graduated in 1981 and eventually to Lock Haven Christian School, where she served as a computer and Bible teacher-a role where she was truly adored by her students and staff alike.

A move back to Chicago, to be closer to her aging father, led her to her husband, Bob Johnson from Lodi, CA. The two were wed on April 20, 1996, beginning a 29-year journey built on deep devotion. After settling in Lodi, Lee followed her heart into service, working as the Bereavement Coordinator for Hospice of San Joaquin from 1998 to 2008. Her calling deepened in 2006 when she was ordained as a Deacon-in-Charge through the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin. She poured her love into her congregations at St. John the Evangelist in Stockton and St. Mary the Virgin in Manteca, always putting her love for the Lord above all else.

When she was serving her church, Lee was often found quilting, baking her signature peach pies, or playing with her cherished dogs. What she enjoyed most was spending time with Bob, sharing a life filled with church,family, travel, and bike rides. They loved catching movies, visiting lighthouses, and cheering on their favorite team, the Chicago Cubs. Following Lee’s passing, Bob, who had been her dedicated companion and caregiver, passed away only three months after her, a testament to their 29- year bond. 

Lee is survived by her stepson, David Johnson, step-grandchildren, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, and Karly Johnson, brother Jack Rossiter of New Hampshire and niece, Amanda Rossiter, of New York, along with numerous friends who were like family to her.

A Memorial Service for Lee Johnson and her husband Bob will be held May 14, 2026 at Cherokee Memorial, Lodi, CA.

Robert “Bob” Johnson, a longtime resident of Lodi, California, passed away at the age of 84 on April 14, 2026, just three months after the passing of his beloved wife, Lee Rossiter Johnson.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Eileen and Einer Johnson, Bob was an only child raised with the unwavering devotion of his mother and the steadfast support of his uncle, Carl Lindstrom. From an early age, Bob and his mother bonded over a shared love for travel—a passion he would eventually carry into his 29 beautiful years with Lee.

A gifted student with a sharp intellect, Bob excelled academically, passing the CPA exam on his first attempt after graduating from the University of Illinois. His successful career in accounting eventually brought him to California, where he spent many rewarding years in the Savings and Loan industry and working at the Holt Rubber Mill. During his early years in Lodi, Bob shared a life with his former wife, Sandy, raising their son, David, and Sandy’s daughter, Annette. True to his accountant’s nature, Bob retired in his early fifties to fully pursue his many passions.

Life came full circle during a trip back to Chicago, where a newspaper advertisement led him to Lee Rossiter. They were married on April 20, 1996, beginning a nearly three-decade journey built on faith and adventure. An avid athlete, Bob ran several marathons and later became a dedicated cyclist, logging over 100,000 miles—a milestone he meticulously tracked. Whether he was cheering for the Chicago Cubs, watching old movies or focusing on his stamp collection, Bob approached life with a quiet work ethic and a generous spirit.

Bob was a devoted caregiver to Lee until her final days, and his passing shortly after hers marks the reunion of two souls who were truly inseparable. He is survived by his son, Dave Johnson; his grandchildren, Jacob, Karly, Nicholas, and Kaitlyn Johnson; step daughter Annette and a community that will long remember his quiet intellect, gentle nature and adventurous heart.

OBITUARY

David was born in Jalisco, Mexico to David and Lorenza Aceves.

David moved to the Stockton area at the age of 9. He attended Holt Union Elementary, Tracy High, Edison High and San Joaquin Delta College.

He worked at various jobs including San Joaquin General Hospital and the San Joaquin County jail.

David enjoyed various hobbies such as soccer, refurbishing pool tables and collecting antiques.

David is survived by his parents, siblings, nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his sister.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers that nurtured and cared for our dear David during his illness.

John Joseph Ferraiolo Sr.

John Ferraiolo Sr. passed away on April 12, 2026, surrounded with love.

A proud Italian-American, John lived a full and vibrant life centered around family, faith, and community. He dedicated more than 70 years to the automotive industry, earning respect and recognition throughout his career, including being named IADAC Auto Dealer of the Year and receiving the Italian Alliance Lucaccini Award.

John’s faith was an important part of his life. He was a devoted member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, where he found brotherhood, purpose, and service.

He was known for his strong presence, his love of music, and his ability to bring people together. Whether through storytelling, laughter, or song, John created moments that will be remembered by those who knew him. He also had a deep love for his dogs, who were constant companions throughout his life.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Maxine Ferraiolo; his children, John Jr., Mike, Mark, Kelly Zucca, and Nikki Ferraiolo; his sister, Mary Fornaciari; as well as 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fortunado Ferraiuolo and Julia Mazzera Ferraiolo; his brother, Joseph “Joe” Ferraiolo; and his great-grandchild, Knoxx Byrne.

FUNERAL MASS and CELEBRATION
A Funeral Mass will be held May 1 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

A Celebration of Life will follow on May 3 at 1:00 PM at Elkhorn Golf Club where ALL family and friends are welcome to gather to honor John’s life through music, faith, and community—just as he would have wanted.
