Ashley Lynn Garibay

Ashley Lynn Garibay tragically passed away at the age of 23 on August 1, 2026, doing what she loved most – serving customers at In-N-Out Burger.
From the moment Ashley was born on November 6, 2002, in Stockton, California, she brought joy to those around her. She had a bright smile that could light up a room. Ashley had an infectious laugh and was often called a “goofy goober” by her best friend Alyssa. Ashley was a friend to all, and no matter what difficulties she was facing, she always found a way to help others find the light in the darkness through her words and actions.
Ashley graduated from Lincoln High School in Stockton in 2020. Adventurous, smart and driven, she loved to cook, read and write, crediting Edgar Allan Poe as her inspiration. She cherished spending time with her family both in Stockton and Mexico and caring for her beloved cats, including Smokey, whom she later named her car after, and Dutchman, who was rescued from an In-N-Out Burger parking lot and named after the company’s famous “Flying Dutchman” burger. Her favorite flower was the dahlia.
Ashley began working her first job at the In-N-Out Burger Stockton store in May 2019 and fell in love with it. She loved to travel and was thrilled to join the In-N-Out Burger All-Star team in 2023 to support new store openings. Through this role, she had the privilege of opening stores across Texas and in Boise, Idaho, Vancouver, Washington, and her final in Twin Falls, Idaho. Her dream was to one day manage an In-N-Out Store.
A devoted daughter, sister, auntie, cousin and friend, Ashley is survived by her mother Sabrina, father Edgar, older brother Alex, younger sister Savannah, grandfather Earl and grandmother Jeanette. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Barbara and great grandfather Joseph.
Ashley, you will forever be missed!
