Maryanthia Willhite

July 16, 1937 - August 25, 2026

OBITUARY

Maryanthia (“Mary”) Willhite passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her

family at her side. She entered eternal rest on August 25, 2026, in Stockton, California.

She was 89. Born in Imperial Valley in 1937, the family moved to French Camp when

Mary was 2 years old. Her father was a farmer, and all the children helped their father farm the land. The family ranch remained in the family for 84 years. She attended French Camp Elementary and Manteca High School. She met the love of her life, Ole Willhite, in 1954 and in 1955 they married and shared 61 years of marriage. They had three children, Victoria (Billy Sr.) Harris, Judee Willhite and Ole Jr. (Janet) Willhite. She had four grandchildren, Hilary (Mike) Seymour, Billy Jr. (Rachel) Harris, Joey (Stefania) Willhite, and Samantha (Troy) Swanson. Blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Mikenna and Mikenzie Seymour, Tripp and Evelyn Anthia (Evie) Harris, and Olivia and TJ (Troy Jr.) Swanson, all of whom she cherished beyond measure. She is

also survived by her sister, Cookie Bowden and brother, Johnny Vezaldenos, and many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Mary lived a long, meaningful life filled with love, laughter, treasured family traditions, and devotion to those she held dear. Her family was the center of her world. Aside from her family being her number one focus, some of her other fulfilling moments were shared with lifelong friends and extended family. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and quick wit, and the way she made everyone feel welcome in her home.

Mary enjoyed golfing with the same group of women on a weekly basis. She loved casino runs with her husband, daughters, and friends. Baseball was her life, and was a diehard fan of the Athletics whom she followed since the early 70’s. She was their number one fan. She was a great cook and an amazing baker.

Although we will miss her deeply, we are grateful for the many wonderful years, memories made and lessons learned, forever to be tucked away in our hearts until we

all meet again. Her abundant love for her family will continue to live on through every

person whose life she touched. We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Kirti Solanki.,

Dr. James Morrissey (always there for us in her times of need and revered as family)

and Dr. Saharan. Special thanks to Oakcreek Assisted Living at O’Connor Woods where she resided for the past 21 months. All the staff from Dawn, Windsor, Sabrina, and we wish we could name every last one of you who provided great care and made her feel loved. You are angels that walk among us. Thank you for loving our mom.
