Kimberly Ann DeBerry, 61, passed away peacefully at home on May 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Though she was taken from us way too soon, the impact of her love and beautiful spirit will remain with us forever.

Born on March 20, 1965, to Ralph and Connie Scott, sister to Kristi Scott Zahos, Kim was known for her kind heart and sharp mind. She was smart, witty, and always smiling, with a laugh that could fill a room. Kim was a proud business owner alongside her father, Ralph, for 30 years.
While she loved traveling, family was what she treasured most. On August 23, 2008, she married the love of her life, Bret DeBerry, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage. She was the loving mother of Christian and Spencer Roberts, and daughter-in-law Leslie Roberts. Above all, Kim adored being a grandmother most; her grandchildren, Connor and Riley Roberts, were the absolute lights of her life. She will be forever missed.\

Carol Ann Ford-Conner, born on May 31, 1942 in Live Oak, California, passed away peacefully at home on April 29, 2026, at the age of 83. She was a devoted Christian whose faith and prayers were central to her life, especially in support of her loved ones.

Carol was deeply loved as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. Despite facing hardships, she endured life with love and a full heart. Her qualities included kindness, forgiveness, selflessness, compassion, and a readiness to listen and offer comfort. Carol enjoyed playing the piano and singing in her church’s worship team, often engaging in household tasks with music, singing, and dancing. She also cherished shopping excursions with her sister Vicki.

Carol is survived by her husband, Robert H. Conner; her sister Vicki Shubat; her brother Eddie Ford; her children Brenda Reed, Dawn Michele Gorden, Debra Flores (Edgar), Bobby Conner (Candace), and Kimberly Conner; her grandchildren Ashley Gorden, Joshua Gorden, Madison Flores, Jessica Sarao (Ruben), Samantha Avalos (Angel), Timothy Flores (Brittany), Virginia Flores, Tanner Husman (Alyssa), Tiffany Facile (Cameron), Tabbitha Heisinger (Jake), Matt Conner (Shelby), Cheyenne Conner, and 16 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 40 years, Donald Frank Ford; her parents Eual Edwin Ford and Leona Pearl Ford; and siblings Stanley Ford, and Patsy Davison-Bibelheimer.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 13th at 11:30 am at Faith Community Church, located at 18621 N. Highway 99, Acampo, California 95220.

We are sad to announce the passing of Noreen Lynette (Oliva) Thompson, 60 of Stockton, CA. We lost her suddenly due to health issues.
She was a loving Mother, Sister, Daughter, Wife, Niece, Auntie and Grandmother.
She was a student at Stagg High School and studied Nursing in Georgetown, CA.
She loved her children dearly. She loved to travel with family and enjoyed family gatherings. She attended the River of Life New Creation Church in Stockton, CA, and loved her congregation dearly.

She is survived by her Husband: Hardy Jerome Thompson;
Her Children: Hardy Jr. & Amber (Crum), Fredrick & Katelyn (Long), and Robin Thompson;
Her Grandchildren: Dion and Elijah Thompson, Aiden, J.J., Tesa and Zayden (Crum);
Her Siblings: Richard Jr., Eito & Kristi, and Leilani Oliva.
She is also survived by her nieces & nephews: Hannah, Toni, Albert, Neo and Rollie, amongst numerous other family members and friends as well.

Noreen loved to laugh and converse with everyone. She was a very selfless person; always thought of others. She will surely be missed by many.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lidia Yolanda Salazar De Gomez, who peacefully departed this life on April 29, 2026, at the age of 81.

Lidia was born on May 18, 1944, in Hacienda Las Anacuas, Mexico. She lived a life rooted in love, hard work, and devotion to her family. As an agricultural worker and homemaker, Lidia dedicated her life to providing for and caring for those she loved. Her strength, resilience, and sacrifice laid the foundation for generations of family.

Lidia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Adan Gomez Maldonado; her daughter, Emelia Gomez Haro; her parents, Raymundo Salazar Tamez and Emelia Rodriguez de Salazar; and her stepmother, Guadalupe Ayala de Salazar.

She leaves behind her loving children: Mariano Gomez (Eudivina), Diana Gonzalez (Lou), Jose Haro, and Marina Berry (Kevin); her 10 cherished grandchildren and 4 beloved great-grandchildren, who brought her endless pride, joy, and love throughout her life.

She is also survived by her cherished siblings: Inosencio Salazar (Maria de Jesus✝), Gloria Cabrera (Jose), Blanca Soto (Rafael ✝), Jose C. Salazar (Yolanda), Maria de los Angeles Bravo (Placido), Sonia Davila (Jose✝), Raymundo Salazar Jr. (Gloria), and Crimilda Vega (Azael).

Lidia was charismatic, funny, and outgoing, with a vibrant personality that naturally drew people to her. She loved being pampered and enjoyed life to the fullest, embracing moments of joy and laughter with family and friends.

She had a passion for cooking and knitting, often sharing her talents and love through the meals she prepared and the handmade treasures she created. Lidia also enjoyed visiting Jackson Rancheria, where she loved playing her favorite slot machines, affectionately known as Fui Dai and Lian Lian Panda (“Las Casuelas”). These outings brought her great happiness and created many cherished memories.

She also leaves behind her beloved Yorkie-Poo, Dulce, a faithful companion who brought her comfort and joy.

Above all, Lidia’s greatest love was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her love, wisdom, and warmth will continue to live on through them.

Lidia will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, her laughter, her generosity, and the love she gave so freely. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Forever loved, forever remembered, forever missed.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rene Rodriguez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away on April 27, 2026.

Rene was born on January 3, 1972, in General Terán, where he was raised before immigrating to Lodi in 1994 alongside his wife, Sandra Rodriguez Silva, and their daughter in pursuit of a better future for their family.

Rene was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent 28 years operating heavy machinery while working with the Wortley family in Lodi. He took great pride in providing for his family and was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and willingness to help others whenever they needed it.

Above all, Rene was a family man. He was a loving husband to Sandra Rodriguez Silva, a devoted father to Sandy Rodriguez and Rene Rodriguez Jr., and a proud grandfather to Adrian Izaguirre. He also cherished his son-in-law, Jaime Izaguirre, and loved spending time with his family creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Rene truly knew how to enjoy life. He loved cheering on Tigres UANL and the Dallas Cowboys, spending weekends fishing, hosting carne asadas, and bringing people together. He had a deep love for music of all kinds and could always be found on the dance floor, making people smile with his energy and joyful spirit.

He was known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. Rene never hesitated to lend a helping hand, support those around him, or make someone laugh when they needed it most. He was a friend to all and left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Rene is preceded in death by his parents.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the love, laughter, and memories he gave us. His legacy will live on through his family, friends, and all the lives he touched.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

Floyd Ellis Zastrow

September 22, 1926 - April 27, 2026


OBITUARY

Floyd E. Zastrow, 99, died peacefully in his Lodi home on April 27, 2026 with his wife Leonila by his side. He was born September 22, 1926 in Azusa, California. He was raised in southern California, attending Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. Sac) after serving his country in the United States Navy. He pursued a career in optometry and graduated in 1949 from Northern Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.

He met Louise Stevens in Optometry College, they married in 1950. He returned to California to serve as Clinical Director of the Southern California College of Optometry and practiced in Burbank. Often working with the movie industry.

He searched for a place to set up his own practice and raise his growing family. Lodi became home in 1963. He saw many patients throughout his years and continued to see patients into his 90’s. The City of Lodi recognized Dr. Zastrow for his dedication in the medical profession in 2000 celebrating 50 years, for providing better health to the citizens of Lodi and surrounding communities.

A lifelong Catholic, He attended St. Anne’s Church.

A devoted member of Lion’s Club, he had perfect attendance (50 years). He took pride in serving his community, especially in the area of vision. He was designated a Hellen Keller Fellow for outstanding humanitarian service and was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellow from Lion’s International Foundation. Twice earned outstanding Lion’s member of the year. He encouraged and loved education!

A member of Woodbridge Golf & Country Club. He was an avid golfer. Celebrating at St. Andrews for his 80th birthday.

He married Leonila Agullana August 18, 2018.

He loved to dance. He was well known for his performances at the Lodi Senior Follies, singing “Pennies from Heaven” and tap dancing.

He had some great cars throughout his life including a 1972 Datsun 240Z and his 1967 VW Beatle was one of his favorite possessions, which he drove into his 90’s.

Later in life he discovered traveling. Italy became his favorite destination and would stay a month at Lake Como. Always enjoyed a good movie, held season tickets to the UOP men’s basketball games (Go Tigers!) and meeting friends for coffee.

Proceeded in death, by his first wife of 31 years, Louise. His sons, Stephen and Hank, and daughter Laura.

He is survived by his wife, Leonila and stepdaughter Shirley Agullana. These two cared for him in his final years with love and compassion.

He is survived by his daughter Clare (Fred) Reynolds, son Karl (Liz) Zastrow. Four grandchildren: Billy (Michelle) Reynolds, Amanda (Chris) Johnson, Mary (Scott) Gilbert, Beau (Alyson) Zastrow. Seven greatgrandchildren.

Bernard “Bernie“ Martin Sandoval

Bernard (Bernie) Martin Sandoval went to be with our Lord on April 26, 2026. Bernie was born on November 30, 1966. Bernie will forever be remembered by his father, Guillermo Sandoval, Siblings Raul Sandoval (Donna), Zaida McCunney (William), Oscar Sandoval (Susan), Patricia Sandoval, and Jaime Sandoval (Kathy). Bernie was the loving uncle of Tanisha Sandoval (Denny), Michael Sandoval, Jonathan McCunney, Ashley Torres, Jordan Campos, Braden Campos, Kailin Torres, Kaleeyah Torres, and Kainoah Torres. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Sandoval.

Bernie was a devoted caregiver to his parents, especially during his mother’s illness, providing unwavering support, comfort, and love. His family found great peace and comfort knowing that his parents were cared for with such dedication.

Bernie was a passionate home chef who enjoyed preparing a variety of meals, especially the Latino dishes he loved so much. He found great joy in sharing his cooking with family and friends, bringing people together around the table. A devoted chocolate lover, he rarely let a gathering pass without having a dessert to share and enjoy.

Bernie had a keen eye for detail, particularly when it came to interior design, and took great pride in creating beautiful and welcoming spaces. An avid gardener, he enjoyed sharing his knowledge and techniques with others, always eager to help things grow and flourish. He found joy in spending time at home, organizing and caring for his surroundings so they looked their very best.

Bernie’s warm spirit, and generous heart brought happiness to those around him and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his father, siblings, and his beloved dog, Nacho. Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace and reunited with his mother, Gladys Sandoval. He will forever be remembered with love, gratitude, and affection.

Rodney Joe Koehn

RODNEY JOE KOEHN (A.K.A. RODD)

April 19, 1944 - April 4, 2026

OBITUARY

Born in Newton, Kansas, Rodd Koehn was one of four siblings in a hard-working, farming family. Alongside his Parents, Jesse and Emma, he worshiped as a Holdeman Mennonite. Kenny was Rodd’s only brother, and they loved working the land in Halstead, KS. together. The four Koehn siblings often shared their childhood thoughts under the big old Elm tree in the yard. Even though he was full of mischief, quick to tease, and considered a rebel, Rodd loved his family, farm animals, pets and maintaining anything with a motor or engine. Rodd was also briefly married to a woman called Anne who belonged to the Mennonite faith.

When Rodd went to work for a Kansas excavation and road building company, he discovered his talent for running heavy equipment. Considering a lucrative offer from a California Contractor, Rodd moved to the west coast on a whim. Rodd tremendously enjoyed his job as a Finish Grader where he possessed the skill to translate a GPS layout into a complicated roadway or building pad. There, in California’s Central Valley, he lived for about 26 years until his death. He was much loved by his girlfriend and California native, Tracy, and she helped him explore many of the wonders of the west coast. Tracy considered Rodd her “Mr. Fix It”.

In 2015, Rodd sustained almost fatal injuries in a head-on vehicle crash that led to a three-month hospital stay. But Rodd recovered and was happy to retire at 65. Rodney loved his pick-up trucks. He took pride in modifying each one to a “custom ride”. Buck was Rodd’s favorite dog while in California. They were “best friends” for sure.

Rodd always spoke fondly of his Kansas roots and will be missed by a huge number of relatives there. He leaves behind a sister-in-law Laura, and his sisters Lenora (Ron) and Florene. He also leaves a nephew, Kendel (Deanna), and nieces, Denise (Chris), Saundra (Seth), Krista (Troy), and Karlita (Keith).

Joseph Thomas Giminez

April 25, 1942 - April 22, 2026

OBITUARY

Joseph Thomas Giminez (“JT”), 83, a lifelong resident of Stockton, passed away on April 22, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer and pneumonia.  He was surrounded by his loving family. He enlisted in the Army at a young age.  While stationed in Germany he met the love his life, Ingrid, who survives him.  Upon returning to the States, he began studying to be and became a mortician.  He loved his work (something not everyone can say) and dedicated himself to the profession for over forty years.  He loved his family intensely and would do anything for them. 

He is survived by his wife, Ingrid; his daughters Christina, Joyce, and Sandy; and his son-in-law Christopher, who will all miss him until the end of time.  In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
